NEW! Easter Sunday Scrapbook Album Kit

Hello crafty friends and happy Wednesday! I'm sooooo excited to share this week's cute NEW mini album kit that will be in my shop on Friday. It's titled Easter Sunday and it's packed with bright happy colors, bouncing bunny rabbits, and lots of pretty flowers. It's the perfect scrapbook for your Easter and spring memories!

Just look at these colors and all the Doodlebug cuteness! It makes me so happy, lol! I chose the 6x8 inch mini album in limeade and its green color is perfection with these papers and embellishments. Great for spring.

On the cover, I added lots of flowers, Easter eggs, bunnies, a pretty 3D flower basket Shaker-pops, scalloped border sticker, and some cute little enamel hearts. Yep ... it's starting to feel a lot like spring!

I designed this album with a really fun mix of papers from 5 different Doodlebug collections, 2 Bella Blvd collections, and 1 Photoplay collection, so ... this mini is truly unique. The embellishments are from Doodlebug's sweet Bunny Hop Collection.

Inside, there are 14 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 5 pockets, 3 flippies, and space for 40+ photos. But, that's not all ... there are also 10 clear page protectors with space for 45 MORE photos! 

This little rabbit is peeking out to say Hello! She's nestled in behind the photo mat, which ... is also a handy dandy pocket! I tucked a clipboard die cut inside for documenting notes, dates, names, a location, or event.

Above, is one of the fold-out pages and on the front, there's a lined card for journaling. Some things you could write about might be ... 

• your family's traditions
• favorite holiday foods
• what Easter means to you
• how you decorate eggs
• your personal Easter memories
• favorite childhood experiences
• what you love most about the holiday

This scrapbook would be wonderful filled with pictures of the Easter bunny, coloring Easter eggs, holiday decorations, a party, an egg hunt, spring flowers, a church event, family gatherings, Easter baskets, sweet treats, a brunch, and fun with friends. It would also make a wonderful handmade gift.

St Patrick's Day Accordion Mini Album with Lori Whitlock

Hey friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's March Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site too because she has a sale and more great products for you!

For my project, I made a cute accordion style mini album for St. Patrick's Day using one of Lori's fun cutting files. It's perfect for pictures of the holiday, March, spring, or the people you feel lucky to have in your life.🍀

To start, I chose a greeting card file called Shamrock Card 2 and the Echo Park, Happy St. Patrick's Day paper collection (links below).

This little scrapbook is filled with spring colors, leprechauns, rainbows, stripes, and flowers. I added a cute polka dot ribbon to hold the accordion pages together.

To make it, I cut 5 card bases out of white card stock and glued them back to back to create the accordion album.

The cutting file includes a separate inset shape for the front of the card, so I cut out 10 of them in different colors and patterns for the pages.

I added the inset pieces to each page, then decorated with lots of cute stickers and photo mats.

To make the shaped photo mats, I used a 3" scallop circle punch and a 2.5" circle punch by Marvy Uchida (links below).

This little scrapbook would be great for photos of a festival, a parade, everyone wearing green, a traditional dinner of corned beef & cabbage, an evening with friends at an Irish pub, green beer, green cocktails, Irish whiskey, or Irish coffee!

This collection is so pretty ... I just love all the flowers, tiny polka dots, and stripes. Perfect for spring!

While I chose a St. Patrick's Day theme, you could use ANY of Lori's card files and any paper collection, and replicate this accordion mini album idea. It would make a sweet gift for Easter, a birthday, Mother's Day, or Father's Day.
