Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my Doodlebug Design Team Project and it's the final post for my Build a Snowman Mini Album. I'll
be sharing my favorite pages, some of the fun elements I created, and
recapping all the goodies that come with Doodlebug's Mini Albums. With one more month of winter, I hope this project gives you some inspiration for saving this season's memories.
I created this scrapbook with the 6x8 Doodlebug Mini Album in swimming pool and the super cute Winter Wonderland Collection. For all the details on how I designed the cover, click Build A Snowman Album Part 1.
Doodlebug's
Mini Albums include so many great features and this first page is one of them. It's 1 of 5
chipboard tabbed
dividers and I added pretty patterned papers
and 2 flippies to it. These folding cards were made with 3x4 cards and have space inside for 4 photos.
Another great detail of the Mini Album is that it comes with 4 pocket pages. Some are positioned along the bottom and others along the side. I like to add cards to mine that can be used as photo mats or for journaling, and ... tuck all my special little memorabilia inside.
The album also has 4 colorful card stock pages like the pistachio polka one above. I folded mine in half to create a fold-out page. Then, I added some cute die cuts and photo mats. For details on the last 3 photos and to see more pages, click Build A Snowman Album Part 2.
I love making mini albums but their smaller size can limit how many pictures and embellishments can be added. So, I incorporate layers that add as much space as possible. In the photo above, I created a fold-out page AND a little deer flippie on the front. Now, this gives you room for 4 pics!
Here is one of the pockets that is along the side of the page. I like that Doodlebug mixed them up a bit. For this one, I covered it with pretty papers and added a tri-fold pull-out card that's loaded with photo mats and cute die cuts.
The
album also comes with 10 assorted clear page protectors. Above is one of them and it's
divided into two 4x6 inch spaces. I added some colorful prints, enamel shape sprinkles, die-cuts, and ... another flippie! For details on the last 3 photos and to see more pages, click Build A Snowman Album Part 3.
This layout has a bunch of interactive goodies. I created a fold-out page (seen on the left) for a large photo on the front and back. Then, I added some acetate snowflakes and few sparkling mini jewels.
On the right, I created a pocket and tucked more journaling cards inside. Then, I made the front of the pocket a flippie and added the This & That scalloped sticker on top.
Open that flippie, and there's a 2nd pocket inside with two little 3x3 inch square cards. I love the interaction with scrapbook pages. What a fun surprise to open each layer and find sweet photos and handwritten notes.
Here's
another one of the colored cardstock pages that are included in the album. I
decorated with this one with a few winter die cuts and added another flippie that I made with a 3x4 card. For details on the last 3 photos and to see more pages, click Build A Snowman Album Part 4.
My Build a Snowman Winter Album is complete! I hope I was able to give you some fun layout ideas and you're excited to create your own scrapbook with Doodlebug's 6x8 inch Mini Album. Have a great day! 😊
