Give Thanks Tag Shaped Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey scrappers! It's time for my next Doodlebug Design Team Project and this one is super small and so cute!! I made a tag shaped mini album titled Give Thanks that's only 2x4 inches. What a fun size! It's a micro mini, lol. It makes a great little holiday project and wonderful gift idea for Thanksgiving!

I designed it with the fabulous Farmhouse Collection and it was soooo easy. I used the 12x12 tag sheet called Give Thanks and cut apart each tag. After deciding which side I would use for the album's pages, I glued 16 of them back-to-back to create 8 sturdy pages. Then, I punched a binding hole in each one.

On the front cover, I added the "Let's Give Thanks" title from 6x6 Country Quilt paper. The word strips from it fit perfectly on the tags. Then, I added the cute bird icon sticker, the scalloped border sticker (from the This & That), and a little enamel heart sprinkle (product links below). That was simple!

Inside, I embellished each "page" with a fun mix of photo mats, cards from the 6x6 paper pad, icon stickers, die cut pieces, This & That stickers, and more colorful sprinkles.

 

Some of the tags were so cute, they didn't need a thing! So, I left them as is and they made perfect little decorative pages. Check out the one above with the mixer, bowls, and turkey.

Here, I added a little journaling spot. I used the clipboard from the Bits & Pieces and trimmed it down to fit the tag. The sunflower is from the Odds & Ends.

Look how cute this tiny flippie is! I made it with another card from the 6x6 Country Quilt paper. Inside, I added a colorful plaid and space for 2 small photos.

Even a mini album as small as this one needs a pocket! I used a stamp shaped piece from the Chit Chat to create it. I glue around 3 sides and left the center open. Then, I tucked some little banner pieces inside for journaling about the things I'm grateful for. 

Sometimes, big things come in small packages. Although this mini is tiny, it can be a very special keepsake. I could see it being passed around the Thanksgiving table to record what everyone is thankful for.

This little album is so easy to create that it's a perfect idea for kids, too. They could make it on Thanksgiving and use ANY paper collection.
