Road Trip Travel Scrapbook Album Kit

Hello friends! Today, I'm giving you a peek into this week's colorful NEW mini album kit that will be in my shop tomorrow (Friday). It's a travel themed scrapbook titled Road Trip and it's perfect for vacation photos to anywhere! This mini is loaded - I packed it with fun pages, lots of embellishments, and so many great interactive elements. Soooo ... let the travels begin!

I designed this with a 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder in lime and the Simple Stories Pack Your Bags Collection. It has vibrant colors and playful prints with flowers, hearts, clouds, location pins, luggage, globes, cars, airplanes, bicycles, hot air balloons, and taxis.

This scrapbook would be awesome filled with memories from one big vacation, but you could also add photos from many smaller ones. The album comes with tabbed chipboard dividers so the trips could easily be separated.

Inside, there are 20 pages that include fabulous stickers, brads, and enamel dots. There are also 6 flippies in different sizes that go in every direction, 2 pockets, and space for 60+ photos. Every page is fun!

It has a wonderfully generic travel theme so it's great for any vacation whether it's a road trip, a bus across country, traveling on a train, or flying around the world. It works for all memories from exploring a quiet countryside to sightseeing in the big city.

Pockets are a must in a travel album for all those small tokens you collect along the way. They're perfect for postcards, hotel stationary, a matchbook, travel stickers, brochures, tickets, a small map, business cards, foreign currency, itineraries, room card keys, boarding passes, or extra photos.

I've add some great cards for journaling so you can document your travels. Add your itinerary, the dates, places you visited, the sights you explored, and all the fun details.

If you know someone who loves to travel, this would make an amazing gift idea for Christmas, a birthday, or a graduation. Lots of people graduate in December and this would be a fun way to celebrate the next big adventure. Ohhhh, the place we will go!

This simple album kit can be assembled in a couple hours (or less!) and it's so much fun to create. Take it on a crop / retreat! All of the pieces are pre-cut for you, packaged by page, and include the simple, full-color, step-by-step instructions. You'll end up with a super keepsake that tells the stories of your travels.

Halloween Haunted House Scrapbook Album

Hi friends! Today, I’m sharing my latest Lori Whitlock Design Team Project. It's a fun Halloween Mini Album in the shape of a little house that's been haunted by flying ghosts, skeletons, grinning pumpkins, & one mischievous black kitty. It's a perfect project for your Halloween photos and a great gift idea!

I created it with Lori's wonderful cutting file called Hidden Binding Mini Album House and the Doodlebug Design, Happy Haunting Collection. It's mini icon stickers have furniture and home accessories that were perfect for this house album, and the size was spot on!

To start, I cut the base out of Bazzill card stock in raven black, then added some cute pattern papers and mini icon stickers. Lori's file comes with 2 pretty flowers and a front door but, I added some stickers instead to keep with the Halloween theme.

The album uses a hidden binding technique to secure the pages. That allows enough room in between for pop dots, stickers, die cuts, tags, twine, etc. And, it lays perfectly flat when closed! You can watch the assembly tutorial for it over on Lori’s YouTube Channel here.

Inside, I wanted 4 pages that were super sturdy so I cut 8 pieces out of black card stock and adhered two back to back to make each of my 4 pages. But, you could create this album with just 4 single pages.

I covered each page in cute Happy Haunting pattern papers and photo mats. Then, I decorated with the mini icon stickers. It's "frightful & delightful".

While I designed this as a Halloween themed haunted house, Lori's file could be used for ANY theme just by changing the paper collection. You could decorate it for pictures of family/home, a dog house, fall, a summer beach house, a cabin in the woods, or a winter wonderland in the mountains. It's so versatile!

On some of the pages, I added scalloped circular photo mats. To make these, I used a 3" scallop circle punch and a 2.5" circle punch.

This cute mini album would be great filled with Halloween photos of family, friends, the pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, a party, a haunted house, a festival, a corn maze, awesome costumes, trick-or-treating, and loads of sweet treats!

This would also make an amazing gift idea for the holiday. Give it to a friend, teacher, babysitter, dog walker, or the hostess of a Halloween party. 

Look how cute this mini album is sitting out on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. These are perfect for showing off your projects, especially around the holidays. They make great decor, and ... they're filled with your FUN memories!

Lori has other hidden binding mini album shapes too. I've made the flower, telephone, and the tag shape and they are all so much fun.

12x12 Creepy Halloween Scrapbook Layout Kit

Hey guys! Last month, I made a tombstone shaped Halloween mini album titled Stay Spooky that used a fabulous PhotoPlay collection. It sold out quickly (thanks everyone!) and I had extra supplies, so ... I thought I'd create a layout kit for all my 12x12 scrappers out there. It's titled Creepy and it's in the shop now!

I designed these pages with the PhotoPlay, Creepin' It Real Collection by Traci Smith and I love it! I love the dark teal blue mixed with the traditional orange and black. I love the delicate pretty flowers along side the skeleton bones. And I really love the ghosts covered in floral sheets, lol! It's all so good. 

These 4 scrapbook pages include 2 flippies, 1 pocket, and space for 22 photos. They're great multi-photo pages for your scary, or ... not so scary Halloween memories!

The pocket has some really cool journaling cards / photo mats but you could also add small memorabilia to it, like ... movie stubs, tickets to a carnival or Fright Night, or a rather ghoulish holiday recipe.

The close-up on the page above shows how good the colors are. The blue is great, right?! And I love the little "Hey Boo" ghost flippie. 👻

This kit will take the guesswork out of knowing what to do with your Halloween photos. I've taken care of the design, supplies, measuring, and cutting so you ... can do the fun part! Simply assemble and add your spooktacular memories.

I've even added a little lined journaling spot. I tucked it inside the flippie on this page so you can document the date/year, the location, the event, or names of people.

Holly Jolly Days Christmas Scrapbook Album

Hey friends! It's Funday Friday and that means I've just added a brand NEW kit to the shop. This week's mini album is titled Holly Jolly Days and it has a colorful Christmas theme that will highlight all your holiday photos perfectly! Check it out ...

I designed this with a 8.25" x 8.75" Graphic 45 Interactive Binder Album and the wonderful Simple Stories, Snow Pine Lodge Collection. I love this line. There are lots of pretty poinsettia flowers, snowflakes, holly, a snowman, reindeer, winter trees, cozy cabins, and joyful phrases.

It also has a cheerful color palette of green, red, golden yellow, and my favorite ... pink! On the cover, I added the eye-catching title card, festive stickers, enamel dots, and a big beautiful gingham bow.

Inside the front cover is a pretty paper covered in holly leaves and berries. I added a red poinsettia and a cute circular journaling piece that's perfect for the date, names, or location.

The album has 16 pages that include 7 pockets, 4 fold-out pages, several flippies, and space for 50+ photos.

I love this pocket. The poinsettia flowers are so colorful & the little "be merry" sticker matches them perfectly.

The cards inside each pocket are great for journaling or to use as photo mats for your pictures. I included some blank ones and added festive stickers or die cuts to them.

Here's a fun fold-out page. On the front, a cute pink (although it looks peach in the photo) journaling card for "making a list and checking it twice"!  Open that, and there's 4 photo mats inside with a chilly winter scene.

This album is perfect for photos of fun in the snow, decorating the Christmas tree, a holiday show, a pretty light display, your home, baking Christmas cookies, a school or church event, making a gingerbread house, a party, family gatherings, caroling with friends, gifts, and Christmas day!

Maybe you're traveling on a vacation for Christmas, going skiing, renting a cabin in the mountains, or visiting family. Be sure to take photos, then document those memories here.

Don't forget to save all the bits and pieces of memorabilia that you gather throughout the season. The pockets are great for storing a favorite holiday recipe, a letter to Santa, tickets to an event, a room key, a program from a church event, the tag from a gift, or special Christmas cards.
