Jar Shaped Happy Healing Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hi guys! It's time for the next Doodlebug Design Team Project and this week we were asked to create something fun with the new Happy Healing Collection. So, I pulled out one of my acrylic jar shaped albums and filled it with tons of little happy pills. Lol! It's titled Mugs, Hugs, and Effective Drugs and it's a cheerful place to save photos of just about any medical condition you'd like to remember.

This fun little project is so easy to recreate with my clear Acrylic Jar Shaped Mini Album! It's available in my shop and includes two 5x8 inch clear covers, 4 white cardstock pages, 2 page templates for cutting patterned paper, and 1 binding ring. But you also create the covers yourself with white cardstock or chipboard.

A few weeks ago, I shared another scrapbook made with the Happy Healing collection titled Laughter Is The Best Medicine. In that blog post, I listed lots of photo ideas and ... people that would love the medical theme of these albums. To visit that post, click here.

Inside, there are 8 white cardstock that include 2 flippies and space for 18 photos. I layered each page with pretty 12x12 papers and made photo mats with the smaller 6x6 prints.

Once that was complete ... it was time to embellish!! I added lots of cute die cuts from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat and stickers from the This & That. On the blue page above, I also included a fun little journaling spot for names, dates, and notes.  

Don't you think this would make a fun (and unique!) handmade gift for a nurse, doctor, pharmacist, an EMT, or anyone in the medical field? They could add pictures with their friends, on the job, or everyday photos.

Although being under the weather is no fun ... the bright cheerful colors and the cute smiling faces are sure to turn anyone's frown upside down!
