Hey guys! Today is National Christmas Card Day so, I thought I'd share a pretty card that I made this week for the holiday. I put this together in less than 5 minutes with some basic solid paper, a stencil, ink, and a few embellishments. Seriously, it was so simple and quick.
I started with the stencil by Gina K Designs called Harvest Flourish (links below) and a piece of white card stock that I cut to 6x6.
I used a blending brush (also by Gina K Designs) and 3 colors of ink by PinkFresh called Grassy Knoll, Key Lime, and Olive. I layered the inks from light to dark and blended until I got the soft variation I wanted.
Pretty, right?! Next, I cut the 6x6 sheet down to my card size (A2 4.25x5.5) for the panel on the front. I layered that on top of a sheet of Bazzill Kiwi Crush and then to my card base made of Bazzill Marshmallow.
When I cut down the panel for my card front, I had a bit left over so I made a cute tag with it.
I added some red glitter enamel dots by Doodlebug Design, then finished off the card with the Joyful Blessings sentiment from Pinkfresh's Holiday ephemera set. Voila! A quick and beautiful handmade card.
I hope you liked this one! To make shopping easy, I've added the links for the supplies used down below. Happy scrappin' and ... Happy Christmas Card Day!
