Hey scrappers! Today, I'm excited to share my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project with you. It's super colorful and filled with the new petite prints. I created four 8x8 dog layouts for one of my Storybook albums. I love to add pages to these periodically and honestly ... it's been a while. So recently, I took some pictures of my son's sweet pup Tarot and thought ... time for some new layouts!
I used the Plaid & Polka Dot and Candy Stripe & Sprinkles petite prints and lots of adorable embellishments from the Doggone Cute Collection (links below). For interest, I always mix up the page protectors in my albums so even if I use the same paper collection ... each one has a very different layout.
This first page has a great spot across the top that needed a fun title so, I added the woof die cut piece from the Chit Chat and a few Odds & Ends. I used the rainbow paw print and dog house stickers from the This & That and embellished with some colorful enamel hearts. Love those.
My "grandpup" is so tiny, weighing in at about 5-6lbs. She's precious and no matter how old she is, she will always be our baby girl. So, the title here is very appropriate, lol!
Check out the little pocket I made with the 2 tags. I love the interactive detail this adds and it's great for 2 small photos / journaling. I used my craft knife to cut a slit in the page protector along the top of the pocket so you can access it anytime.
I used red and white polka dot washi tape to create a grid on this page. That gave me room for photos of Tarot with the family, playing with her favorite toy, napping, the zoomies, or ... giving us the stink eye, lol!
On this last page, I wanted to add one larger photo mat for a family picture of my son, his sweet wife, and their furball. I added the So Loved and the paw piece from the Chit Chat and ... of course, I had to zhuzh it up with some sprinkles!
These smaller 8x8 pages were a lot of fun to create and I totally recommend you getting the new Petite Prints. The rainbow pack has 24 different colors and each sheet is double-sided. They're so practical and go with everything! Trust me ... you'll use them A LOT.
To see my other 8x8 pages visit: Spring, Farm, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, October, November, December, February, June, and December.
