12x12 Seaside Summer Scrapbook Layout

Hello friends! Have you seen Doodlebug's new petite prints yet? These patterns will be a staple in my scrapbook room and come in plaid / polka dot and candy stripe / sprinkles (links below). They work with everything. I added them to my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project along with some cute embellishments from the Seaside Summer Collection. This 12x12 layout is going to be perfect for my beach photos! 🌞

This page could also be great for a weekend of boating, collecting seashells, building sand castles, a tropical vacation, surfing, enjoying the pool, or a cruise. I love doing ALL those things! Well ... maybe not surfing, lol.

 

I started with white card stock as the base and then cut 5 3/4” squares from the plaid / polka dot petite prints in cherry, bumblebee, swimming pool, and limeade. I cut the squares in half diagonally and added the triangles to the white base in a pin wheel design. 

Then, I created the 4 inner squares by cutting 5” squares of white card stock and layering 4 3/4” squares of candy stripe / sprinkles petite prints on top.

I chose a bunch of super cute die cuts from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat and stickers from the mini icons and the This & That sheet to decorate with. I love those little cocktails!

It's no secret that shape sprinkles are my favorite ... so how cute are the shiny little fish and the anchor above? I also added the message in a bottle (2 photos up), and the sunscreen (below). Adorable!
