12x12 St. Patrick's Day Layout with with Lori Whitlock

Hello friends and Happy Blog Hop day! Today is Lori Whitlock's March Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site because she has a sale and more great products for you!

For my project today, I have a cute 12x12 scrapbook page that uses one of Lori's amazing cutting files called Lucky Horseshoe (link below). It's a great design and perfect for photos of St. Patrick's Day, or ... any day!

To make this, I set the file up in my Silhouette Cameo software. I duplicated the shamrocks and stars 4 times and rearranged everything on my 12x12 mat.

I cut the shapes out of 12x12 white Bazzill card stock paper, then trimmed the sheet down to 11.5" x 11.5". 

Next, I turned the paper over and added scraps of Doodlebug Over the Rainbow 12x12 paper to the back side. As you can see, I don't like to fussy cut so I just made sure everything covered the spaces. What a mess, lol. But hey, no one will see that part and ... it was quick and easy! :)

Once the page is flipped over, you can see that the cut out shamrocks and stars are backed with cute papers. I saved the white horseshoe piece and used it as a guide to add the enamel dots.  

This was an easy way to find the perfect placement for the pretty yellow enamel sprinkles (all links below). 

 

I added 2 photo mats on either side of the horseshoe, lots of tiny enamel hearts, and the lucky tab from the Doodlebug This & That sticker sheet. So cute!

 

You could use this page for pictures of the St. Patrick's Day holiday, a party, a visit to an Irish pub, green beer, a parade, or an Irish themed festival.

 

 

Or ... add pictures of family, friends, a pet, or anyone that you feel lucky to have in your life.
