Hey guys, it's March and that means ... a new 12x12 calendar page! I love making these. You can display them on a clipboard, your refrigerator, or hang them in your office or craft room. Then when the month is over, add them to your scrapbook as a title page! They're a fun project & a nice way to stay organized at a glance.
I used one of Doodlebug's Day to Day Calendar Sheets. These come in a pack of rainbow colors and the monthly
stickers & vellum number stickers are included.
I used paper and embellishments from Doodlebug's, Over The Rainbow collection. It's perfect for spring! For the title, I used the March sticker from Doodlebug's Daily Doodles monthly stickers and matted it with the rainbow stripe paper called Over the Rainbow. Then, I added a bunch of cute mini icon stickers on either side.
I love to add a little bling to the page so I included some gems next to the pre-printed days of the week. Inside the squares, I used a mix of mini icon and icon stickers. I LOVE the puffy shapes - that's where the little shiny rainbow, cloud, hearts, flowers, & mushrooms came from (links below).
I added a few 12x12 and 6x6 prints to a some of the squares for interest, but ... you could use these as mats for small photos. They make perfect reminders for someone's birthday, a day you plan to visit them or meet them for coffee, or if they live far ... to remind you to call them!
I also recommend adding notes, birthdays, anniversaries, a date night, a vacation, an office party, bridal or baby showers, a wedding, or anything that would be nice to remember some day. Treat this like a journal for the month's activities since you may add it to your scrapbook.
On March 17, I used the "Happy St. Patrick's Day" sticker from the This & That and the cute leprechaun and wagon stickers (mini icons).
