Hi friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. It's a colorful 12x12 scrapbook page that's giving me all kinds of spring vibes! It was inspired by a layout I found on Pinterest that was designed by Tonya Prawitt. I loved all the little Polaroid photos so I just had to scraplift
the idea. I thought it would be adorable with the Over the Rainbow collection and ... I was right!
The cute pattern paper, the colors, and the happy feeling of this page are everything. And it's so simple! I started by layering two 12x12 prints called Shine Bright (stripes) and Gnome Sweet Gnome (hearts).
Then, I cut the Polaroid mats out of white card stock making them 2" x 2.5". I chose to use 4 photos but, you could add more or less depending on your needs. I trimmed the photos and some pretty patterned papers to 1.75" x 1.75" and adhered them to the white mats.
Now for my favorite part. I picked out tons of embellies from the icon AND mini icon stickers, puffy stickers, sprinkles, and the This & That stickers (links below). So many cute details!!
This design would be great with ANY paper collection. I'm thinkin' a school theme, Easter, or new baby photos would be fun. Ohhh, all the cute stickers! Or, what about winter pictures of building a snowman?
The flower title originally said Thinking of you. But, I changed it by covering the words with a green scallop sticker from the This & That sheet and the You Color My World piece from Chit Chat. Then I added some enamel flower sprinkles on top!
Here's Tonya's cute dog themed layout that inspired me. Love it! I hope you'll give this project a try. It was simple and so much fun with Doodlebug's Over the Rainbow Collection.
