Hey guys! Fun shaped mini scrapbooks might be my favorite thing to make. I just love them and since I can also create different shaped albums out of acrylic, the possibilities are endless!! So for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project, I made a cute little beehive shaped book that is just bee-utiful!
I designed this with Doodlebug's Farmer's Market collection and a brand new beehive cutting file that will be available soon! I used the file to cut the covers out of white acrylic, but you could easily use white card stock instead.
I chose the pretty yellow honeycomb print for the cover, then decorated it with lots of enamel stickers. There are bees, white flowers, tiny red hearts, even tinier dots, and letters. It's as cute as can "bee". (Links below.)
The bee theme is so wonderfully universal, you could this album for lots of different photos like ... family, your sweetheart, a new baby, "bee" FF's, a birthday, or fun everyday pictures.
I used a
3.5" scallop circle punch and a 3" circle punch for the mats. Wouldn't these "bee" adorable filled with photos of your favorite people?! (Yeah, & I'm not done with the silly bee puns yet, lol!)
I added a card for journaling and zhuzhed it up a bit with a few bee sprinkles, a berry stem die cut from the Bits and Pieces, and a red flower
puffy icon sticker. I'm loving this red, yellow and blue color combo!
On this page, I added the red polka dot print called Market Preserves and a cute strip from the Garden Greens paper.
Check out this little flippie that I made with white card stock and the Honey Hut die
cut. It's the perfect size for a
small page and a wonderful little photo.
This yellow page needed a punch of color so, I added the red flower die cut, a few tiny red enamel
hearts, and a blue linen mat. The stamp die cut is from the Chit Chat.
Eeeeee!! Y'all know I'm a sucker for a cute Doodle-pops, ALL enamel sprinkles, and a Shaker-pops! This one is un-bee-lievably cute filled with those tiny beads. Love!
I had so much fun going through the Farmer's Market collection and gathering every little thing that was related to bees. I think I packed it all in this sweet mini album. I hope you had fun looking through the pages and thanks for bee-ing here! (Ok, now I'm done bee-ing punny, lol)
Don't forget to keep an eye out for this new beehive cutting file and happy scrapping!
