Jar Shaped Happy Holidays Christmas Mini Album

Hello sweet friends! Today is National Mason Jar Day so I made something cute! It's a little Christmas scrapbook that uses one of my Acrylic Jar Shaped Albums and the Candy Cane Lane collection. This would be a really unique gift or, create it for yourself and add photos of the winter and holiday season!

The acrylic album is available in my shop and comes with two 5x8 inch clear covers made of high quality 1/8" thick acrylic, 4 white card stock pages, 2 page templates for cutting patterned paper, and 1 binding ring.

On the cover, I added the Happy Holidays title sticker from the This & That 12x12 sticker sheet. Note: The white mat behind the title sticker is included with my acrylic album. So if you want to use a different Doodlebug collection or you buy more than one jar album, ANY This & That sticker in this shape will fit on the white mat. 

I also added a bunch of cute puffy heart stickers to the cover. These are a brand-new product by Doodlebug Design and I just love them!

Aren't they so cute? They add lots of dimension so everyone's going to want to touch them. Lol! I've included them in the product links below.

Now, for the inside ... I covered each of the white pages with a 12x12 pattern paper and made different sized photo mats. These can be adjusted to the sizes of your own pictures. All of the die cuts above are from the Odds & Ends or the Chit Chat. I love how the round "Home for the Holidays" shape fits in the lid space!

Wouldn't this scrapbook make a really sweet gift for Christmas? You could create it for a family member, friend, neighbor, teacher, baby sitter, dog walker, or a co-worker. 

Give it as a hostess gift on Christmas Day if your visiting a friend's home. Or ... as a thank you to someone who's watching your house, feeding your cat, or watering your plants while your away.

My cute Christmas album was fun and simple. I played a little holiday music while I worked on it and it made me so happy! I've shown you all the pages above so you can easily replicate this. Don't forget the music! 😉

New! The Elf Movie Scrapbook Mini Album

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Today, I've created a unique mini album that's also an ornament! It's titled "Elf" and it's based on the 2003 Christmas comedy film starring Will Ferrell. I designed this with a Paper House Collection and I think it's a perfect keepsake (or gift idea!) for any fan of the movie, the actor, or ... of Christmas!

This accordion style album measures 3.75" x 4.75" and features Buddy the Elf in his iconic green and yellow elf suit. It has two clear acrylic covers (with a hanger in the back) and ties together with a white ribbon.

The inside has more of your favorite Christmas elf, doing everything he can to spread Christmas cheer for all to hear. It includes fun stickers, gold metallic paper, great quotes, and cards with illustrations from the movie.

There are 10 pages that include 9 flippies and 1 pocket. You can see in the picture above, that the pocket is tucked underneath a fun flippie. I've added a bunch of cute cards that can be used as mats for small photos or for journaling. And check out the Mr. Narwhal card on the right. It folds out to display ...

... this fun page! "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!" Lol!!

With the hanger designed into the back acrylic cover, you can fill this mini with photos and hang it on a tree, a wreath, or an ornament stand. You can also set it out on a shelf as a fun addition to your holiday decor.

"Santa is coming!" ... soooo, time to check some people off your list! This would make a really fun present for an Elf fan, a cute stocking stuffer, or a secret Santa gift. So unique!

Anyone who's familiar with the movie, whether they're scrapbookers or not, will have fun putting this together. The kit is simple, has step-by-step instructions, and makes a great activity for all ages, teens to adults!

If you haven't seen this movie, you should! It's a lighthearted, funny Christmas film that tells the tale of a young orphan child who accidentally crawls into Santa's gift bag on Christmas Eve. He's taken back to the North Pole and raised as an elf. Years later Buddy learns he's not really an elf and goes on a journey to New York City to find his true identity.

Thankful Scrapbook Mini Album with Doodlebug

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Sending warm wishes your way and hoping you and your family are having a wonderful holiday. I'm so grateful for all of you. Today, I have a new mini album to share that's titled "Thankful". It's shaped like a basket and filled with lots of smiling faces and Doodlebug cuteness!

I created this with the Farmer's Market collection and the Doodlebug cutting file titled Veggie Garden -Veggie Bushel (product links below). I love all the colorful die cuts and those little white flower blossoms on the cover! 

Inside, I added matching die cuts to the backside of those on the front. They're all from the Veggie Garden Odds and Ends and with so many great pieces in the package, you'll have plenty to play with! 

I layered a different 12x12 print on top of the white card stock pages. They're bright, colorful, & perfect for fall.

Each page has a circular mat that can be used for photos or journaling. To make these, I used a 3" scalloped circle punch and a 2.5" circle punch. 

This album would be wonderful filled with photos of family and friends, fall events, farm or farmers market pictures, or your special memories from Thanksgiving.

What about ... giving this as a gift and inside, you could list all the reasons why you're thankful to have that person in your life. I love that!

This album would also make an amazing little gratitude journal. Each round mat could be used for writing. This is a great way to create the habit of focusing more on the positive aspects of your life.
