Whohooo, it's Friday!! The weekend's almost here and I'm excited to share my gorgeous new Christmas album called 25 Days of December. It's perfect for documenting each day of the month or, saving all your fun moments from the holiday. Either way, this mini is a special keepsake for your holiday memories.
I designed this with the Simple Stories Mix and Mingle Collection and I absolutely love it!! It's literally mixing and mingling styles from the 1950's and 1960's and has such a fun retro flair. I used a 6x8 inch teal binder to highlight the classic 1950's colors of aqua, pink, red, green, and gold.
Inside, there are 26 pages filled with pretty holiday prints. I've included numbers so you can highlight each day in December with a different activity. Ali Edwards, the creator of the original December Daily project said that the goal is to capture the spirit of December with one story per day.
If you prefer to skip
the numbers, no worries! Just fill the pages randomly with your favorite holiday memories.
I made a snow scene on this page and incorporated a little envelope filled with colorful tags. I love the 1960's VW bus. Notice it's drivin' around town with a decorated Christmas tree strapped to the top. Lol!
The page above is so pretty. It includes a large pocket with beautiful poinsettias. The lined section is great for writing the date, event or names. Then add your photos to the mat and tuck them safely inside the pocket.
Did I mention this album has space for over 80 photos? Yep! There's plenty of room for pictures of your Christmas tree, baking, holiday goodies, your beautiful home, lights, decorations, fun with friends, a Christmas party, or a family gathering.
You can also save memorabilia. Add Christmas cards, holiday recipes, the little's Christmas list, a note from Santa, or tickets to an event. The backside of the cards in the pockets make great photo mats.
The numbers I used in this project were designed by Sweet Elsie and you can find her print & cut file here. A sheet of these will be included in your kit. If you want to use the daily numbers to document the days in December, you'll need a 1 1/4” circle punch and a 1 1/2” scallop circle punch. This is optional and can be cut by hand with scissors, or punched with a different shape. You won’t need these punches if you don’t plan to use the numbers.
Need a few more photo ideas? How about caroling, a visit with Santa, charity work, a school holiday event, a church play, a beautiful light festival, a parade, a Broadway show ... and last but not least, Christmas Day!
