Haunting We Will Go Halloween Scrapbook Album

It's Friday and look what I have for you today! It's a cute NEW Halloween album titled Haunting We Will Go. Yep, I'm already looking forward to the holiday & since I love to prepare early, I thought you might like to also. Haunting We Will Go Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this mini with a black 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder and the adorable Bella Blvd, Spell On You Collection. I love the fun Halloween characters, potion bottles, cute witches, cats, cauldrons, and more!

The cover has colorful stripes, dots, a cute purple haunted house, fun die cuts (the hoot of owl, lol!), black and white twine, a pretty scalloped teal colored ribbon and a Halloween title. Perfect.

I love, love, love Bella Blvd. It's always been a favorite of mine. The artwork is a little quirky and so much fun ... like this kitty with the wide-set staring eyes, lil cheeks and purple bow tie. So cute!

The album has 20 pages (10 double-sided) that include 3 fold-outs, 2 pockets, and 5 flippies. Lots of room for your spooktacular memories. On the page above, you get 2 for 1 ... a flippie in the front, pocket in the back. Now that's how you maximize space!

Speaking of space, there's room for over 50 photos so you can add memories of a trip to the pumpkin patch, an afternoon carving pumpkins, fun costumes, trick-or-treating, and your amazingly spooky decorations.

I designed these with PhotoPlay's Santa Paws Collection and my 4.5" x 7.5" clear Acrylic Horizontal Mini Album. These minis are the perfect size for saving your favorite pet's photos or for gift giving. It makes an amazing handmade present. 

First up, a closer look at my Santa Paws Dog Album ...

How cute is this cover? One silly pup is wreaking havoc on the Christmas tree & the other two are wondering if they're going to be blamed for it. Lol! I'm loving the little scene and the scalloped circle in the background.

Each mini has 16 pages (8 double-sided) and includes all the interactive elements I love, like the "Happy Pawlidays" flippie above, 2 folding pages, and a handy dandy pocket to save memorabilia or extra photos in.

This paper collection is filled with the traditional red and green holiday colors but there's also a bit of aqua and navy blue. Perfect for a snowy scene!

There are great journaling spots so be sure to document the season with your pet. Did you take a holiday photo with them, buy them a new favorite toy, dress them up in reindeer antlers or a fancy sweater, or take them caroling? Seaside Summer Explosion Box with Doodlebug Designs

Helloooo friends! Today, I'm over on Doodlebug's blog sharing my latest Design Team Project. It's a super fun explosion box that can be used as part gift box, part really cool scrapbook. I love these! They are so clever and so much fun to make. Inside there are layers of pages, pockets, and fun places to journal. Check it out ...

To make the box, I used one of Lori Whitlock's amazing cutting files called Pocket Explosion Box. Then, I decorated it with lots of products from Doodlebug's adorable Seaside Summer Collection. (Links below.)

I enlarged the cutting file to fit a 12x12 piece of paper - making the box 3.5" wide x 4" tall. I cut it out of white cardstock, then chose a bunch of fun 12x12 and 6x6 prints to embellish the outside and inside. 

This is such a fun way to save pictures. You could fill this with summer vacation photos and keep it forever ... OR give it as a gift to someone you traveled with. What a thoughtful, handmade (and unique) keepsake!

When you lift off the lid, the 4 sides unfold to display all these amazing layers. There are pages with photo mats, journaling cards, and 4 little envelopes. In the very center, I added the Beach in a Bottle Shaker-pops but you could also tuck a small gift in there like ... a beautiful seashell, jewelry or a small toy.

Be sure to include lots of journaling spots like this one so you can write about your fun memories and document the location, names, or dates. Check out those cute enamel flip flops!

This explosion box has 3 double sided pages per side plus space inside 4 envelopes. I made the envelopes out of the pretty 12x12 Island Topics paper. I tucked 3x4 cards into each one but forgot to take a photos!

Beach vacations, a cruise, an island adventure, boating, building sandcastles, playing in the sun, surfing and enjoying cocktails by the water ... just a few photo ideas for this project. 

All of the die cuts in this collection are so cute!! I used the palm tree and pelican on this page but there are so many great ones to choose from - cottages, sea creatures, boats, bicycles, seashells and much more.

I absolutely adore this Seaside Summer collection. It's filled with beautiful colors, a tropical theme, and the cutest embellishments. I hope this project inspires you to create something wonderful. Happy crafting!

Calculator Box Card with Lori Whitlock

Hey scrappers! Today, I have a new project for you that's perfect for the back-to-school season. It's a box card in the shape of a little calculator! You could sneak this into your child's backpack or lunch box on their first day for a fun surprise. Such a sweet way to send a little encouragement & support. It's also great for a teacher or ... a co-worker that's great with numbers. What a nice way to brighten their day!

I just love the smiling face and pink cheeks. So cute! I made this using one of Lori Whitlock's wonderful cutting files called Box Card Calculator School. 

I chose a star patterned paper for the base called Balloons, from Echo Park's A Magical Place collection. Then I used some solid papers from Echo Park's Fun On The Farm Collection for the apple, pencil, and the star (product links below).

When the box is opened, there is space between the layers where you could add a gift card, a small note, or money. But since there's no bottom to the card, you would need to use a little tape to keep it in place.

The card folds flat so it can be put in an envelope, sent through the mail or stored as a memento. Lori has so many awesome cutting files, I hope you'll give this one a try. Below are the product links. Have a great day!
