Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. I've been wanting to create an acrylic snowflake mini album for a while and finally, I got around to making it! I love how it turned out - the little round shape, the snowflake cutout and the small size (4.5"x4.5"). It's pocket sized. So cute!!
This is perfect for some of your favorite winter moments and it would be a really unique gift. Imagine filling it with memories from a fun day, a weekend, or a vacation. Such a sweet keepsake and ... it fits in a purse!
So ... I started with the album covers by using white acrylic and a snowflake cutting file from Doodlebug's Let It Snow collection (link below). But, you could easily make these out of white card stock instead and it would be just as cute!
Inside, I added 6 pages made of white card stock and covered both sides with lots of cuteness! I used pattern papers and embellishments from the Let It Snow collection. For this page, I added a 3.5" scallop circle, 2 journaling cards from the 6x6 paper pad, and a precious snowman icon sticker. And of course ... sprinkles!
This pink polka dot shape is from the Bits and Pieces and it makes a perfect little mat for a small photo. I love the sweet penguins but I swear they look like they're waiting for me to say something.
No Artsy Albums mini would be complete without a lil' flippie, soooo ... ta-daa! I just adore the little snow globe card and that black and white striped print behind it. Such an unexpected contrast with the pastels and other cute prints, don't you think?
I added some pieces from the Odds and Ends and the Chit Chat. Did you know that between these 2 packages there are 211 die cuts? So many choices. Soooo many fun projects to make!
Check out this semicircular shaped pocket. How cute is this with the little round snowman? I LOVE it. It's perfect for holding a few small photos or these colorful tags. I added double twine bows to them for a little extra somethin'.
This is a great page for a photo of mom or dad and one of the littles. I added a few sprinkles around the polar bears. I think these cute enamel stickers add shine and a little magic to everything!
I hope you get some fun inspiration from my snowflake mini. Remember, lots of cutting files would look adorable cut into
the center of a circle. Thanks for stopping by the blog today and happy scrappin'!
