Hey there! Today, I'm thrilled to be sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project using the Lots of Love collection. I created these February layouts for Rylee's cute monthly scrapbook. If you're new to my blog, each month I make 4 new pages that highlight some of my granddaughter's fun moments.
My first page is all about these gorgeous flowers so I kept the layout simple. These die cuts are from the Bits and Pieces. I loved grouping them together and adding in some enamel shape sprinkles & dots. So pretty!
I placed a bit of foam adhesive underneath some of the flowers for dimension. I think this would also make a beautiful page for spring, Easter, a birthday or Mother's Day.
For my next page, I used lots of cute die cuts from the Odds and Ends. I love the little scene at the top with the rainbows, clouds and little heart sprinkles. (Product links below.)
I used the My Type alpha stickers in ladybug the Feb. 22 title and added a cute Hello Beautiful sticker next to the photo mat. That's from the This and That sticker sheet.
Rainbows, pretty pink hearts, and a flippie ... I love this page. With space for 4 photos, I hope to add pictures of Rylee at school, with friends, silly selfies at home, or pics with her little "bro" Jax.
Here is a good example of mixing pattern sizes. I used a small rainbow print from the 6x6 paper pad next to a strip of larger rainbows from a 12x12 print. So cute and I think the juxtaposition adds more interest.
For my last layout, I used a page protector with 4 spaces. I added a little flower pocket in the corner that holds 2 cute die cuts. You can journal on the back side of these.
And
check out that pink 3x3 envelope! Inside, I
added a small pull-out mat for photos or notes. I also used 2 rainbow shape sprinkles, placed back to back for a tab. I love this.
To see my other 8x8 pages visit: Spring, Farm, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, October, November, December, June, Dog, and December.
I hope these pages inspire you to create some wonderful layouts of your own. I've added product links for these February pages below for easy reference. Happy scrappin'!
