Hey guys! Today, I'm playing a bit of catch up. Last fall was such a busy time, I didn't get a chance to make the October layouts for Rylee's album. This past week I got them done and thought I'd share them with you. For anyone who needs a little Halloween inspiration (or motivation!) to scrap their photos, I got you ...
For all 4 pages, I used a mix of Doodlebug's Happy Haunting and Ghost Town collection. I started with white card stock as the base, then layered on lots of cute pattern papers and embellishments (product links below).
I always add the month on my first page so the October title from Ghost Town's Chit Chat was perfect. The 3D spider sticker (found here) is from the Little Boo Doodle-pops and I added a bit of twine for fun.
I LOVE this purple striped house (with the pink door!) so it had to be included. It's called Happy Haunting. I tend to hoard these little Doodle-pops but I'm really trying to use them more. I mean really, what good are they doing stashed in box? Lol! And you can find the purple house print/stripe paper here at Starlit Studios.
This next page was made with strips from 2 fun prints called Along Came a Spider and Spooky Spectrum. I added 3 white photo mats and a band of black card stock at the bottom to make the colors from the Halloween title stand out.
I added a journaling card so I could make notes about Rylee's "good times". I have a bunch of cute photos to add to these pages ... from school activities and time with her friends, to Halloween night with her sweet little brother.
Check out this close-up of the silly little Shaker-pops called Eye Candy. Love this! Oh my gosh, these shaker-pops are so cool and the title of this one kills me!! Seriously ... Eye Candy? Hilarious!!
These two little eyeballs were part of the Eye Candy Shaker-pops so I added them to the "spooky" title. Rylee will think this is quite funny!
I wanted this last page to really be all about the pictures and the goodies Rylee got on Halloween night. So, I kept it simple and added the yummy little Doodle-pops called Cake and I-Scream.
To see my other 8x8 pages visit: Spring, Farm, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, November, December, February, June, Dog, and December.
