Hey guys! It's time for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. It's been a while since I've worked on my granddaughter's scrapbook so, I thought I'd make some cute 8x8 layouts. As a reminder, each month I create 4 pages for Rylee's Storybook Album that highlight our time together. I love making them and I also love Doodlebug's newest collection so ... this was a no-brainer.
For these layouts, I used the Great Outdoors collection. It's amazing for fall and Thanksgiving photos. The autumn colors are light, bright and happy and they look great mixed with a touch of brown. So, I used the My Type Alphabet Stickers in Bon Bon for my November title and they match Bruce (the moose, lol!) perfectly.
I used the gorgeous Wild Flowers plaid for the background, a journaling card from the 12x12 My Favorite Flannel paper, and lots of trees from the Odds and Ends (product links below). Then, I embellished
them a bit with some pretty jewels because ... who doesn't love a little sparkle?!
These pages are easy to replicate and would be great for family photos, backyard fun, an autumn festival, a cool weather hike amongst the fall foliage, an afternoon of baking, a neighborhood game of football, or an evening around a fire pit with wine, apple cider, and smores!
I'm a self-confessed Doodle-pops hoarder but I was thrilled to add a few to Rylee's sweet
pages. She loves them so, I chose the adorable beaver called Nutty Buddy
and a few smiling bees from Honey Bear.
I made a grid on this page with the Campfire Plaid washi tape. This is fun, easy and Doodlebug has lots of great tape patterns to choose from. You can put photos in all the sections or like me, add colorful paper to some. I love this polka dot print called Camping Spots. Lol, such a clever name!
Then I decorated the page with adorable die cuts from the Odds and Ends, Chit Chat and added the little "memories" sticker is from the 12x12 This & That sheet. Bee-utiful!
Swimming Pool is probably my favorite of the Doodlebug colors. On this page, I chose to use it in the Petite Prints Dot and Stripe for the background and I adore it with this fall collection.
I spy with my little eye ... a cute owl shape sprinkle! Oh, I love the sprinkles. I also added a teeny tiny frog on one of the pages. Did you already spot him or are you about to scroll back to find him? Lol! It's like a Where's Waldo game.
