Hi there! Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I added the Instructions for my retired Breast Cancer Album to the shop today. This beautiful scrapbook would be a meaningful keepsake for
you or someone you know who is fighting breast cancer, supporting the cause, or has already won the battle. My instructions are step-by-step, easy to follow and include full color photos of each page.
This makes a great project. It uses a pretty pink 6x8 inch binder by Simple Stories and the PhotoPlay collection called Operation: Save 2nd Base. I love the title! It's filled with girly pink hues, touches of yellow and green and lots of positive sayings (product links below).
It's perfect for strong women who want to document their personal breast cancer journey. It
could be used for photos of a favorite doctor or nurse, a
moment where they overcame a milestone or simple pics of time spent with
supportive friends and family.
It could be a wonderful keepsake for a fund-raising
event like a walk/run. I walked in the Susan G Komen 3-day years ago and I loved
scrapping all the photos from the weekend ... from my family holding signs,
to the men wearing pink bras and boas!
There
are so many supportive events that you may have attended with friends
like a charitable luncheon, a tea or a shopping event with your girl
squad all dressed in pink! Or maybe
you and the family show your support at a city event where there's face
painting, raffles, and vendors selling pink merch.
This would be a fantastic journal for you or someone else to write about these experiences. There is plenty of space to document thoughts, events, runs, trials, surgeries and recovery.
I hope you'll give my instructions for this lovely Breast Cancer Album a try. Did you know I have over 175 different instructions for my retired scrapbook albums in the shop? Be sure to check them out and happy scrappin'!
