Hello scrappers and happy Friday! I have something a little different and really fun for you today. It's a 12x12 Crafty Calendar Layout Kit!! I figured it's the start of a new school year and maybe some of you are looking to get organized. Well, here's a really cute way to do it!
These pages
will be a fun addition to your home or craft space. You can secure each month's layout on a clipboard and display it. I used a pretty colored Doodlebug Clipart Clipboard in swimming pool.
These are perfect for keeping track of
everyday events, birthdays and holidays. You can also use the calendar to document all of
your crafty time like retreats, online classes, girls’ weekends, crops, or fun in
your own happy craft place.
After the month is over, you can add these 12x12
pages to an album, or use them as the first page to introduce the month’s pages
that will follow. I love that idea!
The pages in the kit will come to you undated so, you can start with any
month and add any dates. The pages above are numbered but they're just my examples.
This kit was designed with Doodlebug's fun and colorful Cute and Crafty Collection (links below). Don't you just love that pretty plaid I used for March?!
To date your pages, you can use a pen, number stickers, or stamps. For my pages, I used the number stamps in Doodlebug's All Occasion, Calendar Handwritten stamp set.
The stamps are not included in this kit, but I've added the product links below. This set has the months and numbers which I've found super useful in lots of scrapbooking projects!
I also played with 2 other stamp sets to highlight special days. They are both Doodlebug All Occasion stamps. One is called Everyday and it's perfect for events like birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, doctor or dentist appointments, haircuts, etc. The other is called Holidays and includes titles and images for the holidays. So cute!
Photo examples of each
month are included in the kit's instructions; however, I encourage you to make this calendar your
own. The pages I made are suggestions for getting your creative juices
going!
I hope you have fun with this kit. I loved putting it together and I can't wait to hang it in my scrapbook room. It's such a cute way to remind myself of what's ahead!
Update: This layout kit has sold
out but I've added the links for the Instructions and the products used below.
My instructions are simple, step-by-step and include measurements and full
color photos of each page. Happy scrappin'!
