Cute and Crafty Layout with Doodlebug Design

Hello friends! 🌸 Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project which is also on their blog today! It's a 12x12 layout I made with the new and oh so sweet, Cute and Crafty collection. When I first saw the little Doodlebug themed Odds and Ends, I immediately thought of photos from last year's Creativation Trade Show. So, I dug them up, printed them and made this ...

Creativation is the annual trade show for all things crafty. Retailers from all over the world get to see the manufacturers' newest product lines and I always look forward to seeing my Doodlebug family!

For this layout, I kept it simple and created a grid. It gives you lots of space for multiple photos and cute mats for embellishments.

I used the 12x12 Painted Posies for the base. I love all those colorful flowers dancing around the edge! Then I layered the Craft in Color print (11"x11") and white cardstock (10 3/4" x 10 3/4") on top.

Next, I cut nine colorful square mats out of prints from the 6"x6" paper pad. I made them 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and sized my photos to 3"x3". Oh, that little square of washi tape paper above might be my favorite. Those rainbow colors and the fact they look transparent as they overlap each other ... love, love, love!

Once the mats and photos were all lined up ... let the embellishing begin! I had so much fun choosing the die cuts. They're all so cute but I tried to show restraint. I mean, it's hard to choose when you love them all, lol!

Below I've added the product links to the supplies used in this "cute and crafty" layout. Hope you have fun with this collection and happy crafting!
