Hey scrappers! Today is Lori Whitlock's July Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop so, be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too because she has a sale, a giveaway and an awesome freebie for you!
For
my project today, I decided to make a camera shaped box with one of Lori's super cute cutting files and added a fun accordion style mini album to the inside! Oh, how I love this project ...
To
make the camera, I used Lori's file called
Camera Shaped Box (link below). It looks just like my old Pentax 35mm
camera, lol! Yikes, it's been a long time since I've used that but, I
do love the quality of a film camera.
The details on this little camera are amazing from the shutter speed dial on top to the lens on the front. So cute! Over on Lori's blog, she has a tutorial that walks you through how to assemble this.
I used pretty papers from Bella Blvd's Chloe collection, an asterisk sticker from the Doohickey sheet and a small enamel dot for a button. (Links below.)
Lift up the top of the camera box and you'll find a sweet mini album inside. It's perfect for your summer photos, a weekend trip or some pics of your favorite people. This would also make such a fun gift.
The album is an accordion style and I've added a photo at the bottom for the dimensions. On the cover, I used a card from the 12x12 Doodlebug, Fun in the Sun paper and added a cute sunshine mini icon sticker from Doodlebug's Sweet Summer collection. (Links below.)
Inside the mini, I continued using more bright and colorful Chloe paper and Doodlebug mini icon stickers. There's plenty of room for great memories with family and friends.
Here is the diagram of the album's dimensions in case you'd like to make one too!
There are more inspiring projects to see today so ... be sure to hop to each blog! Your next stop today is Anita's site!
