Hey guys! As some of you may remember, each month I make four new scrapbook pages for my granddaughter's album that highlight all our fun moments together. As soon as I got Doodlebug's Fairy Garden collection in the mail, I was already planning these layouts in my head, lol! I've finished the April pages and now ... I'm excited to share them with you!
For
the first page, I chose some pretty papers from the 12x12 paper pack and some Sunshine alpha stickers for my title. Aren't all of
the little bugs and butterflies adorable? That's a strip from the
paper called Little Ladies. I added a few cute die cuts from the Odds and Ends and that sweet fairy
Doodle-pops called Blossom at the bottom. Love her! (All product links below.)
The scrapbook I'm using is a Doodlebug Storybook album. I love its sweet and simple 8"x8" size. It comes with a variety of different page protectors and you can buy them separately as well. I used the styles randomly from page to page to create interest and mix up my photo sizes.
For this page, I layered the dreamy cloud paper called Glow Bugs and the yellow honeycomb paper called Bee Happy. (Love that name!) Then I had fun with the die cuts. The Our Little Lady is from the Chit Chat and the others are from the Odds and Ends.
Can
you believe there are 192 Odds and Ends pieces in each package? That's a
ton of choices but my favorite is this little fairy and flower stem! I
love her blue pixie cut hairdo and matching striped socks, lol!
On this page, I added space for one larger pic and mats for three smaller 2"x2" photos. I think tiny photos will be cute surrounded by so many pretty patterns and ... I get to add more images of Rylee!
How cute is this little fairy!? Doesn't she look like she's showing off her biceps? Yes girl! Be strong and rule the garden with your little flower headband!
I really love this last page where I used a 4x4 page protector. I wanted to highlight my photos so I used some of my favorite patterns for mats. Then, I added a cute chipboard banner in the top corner from the 12x12 This and That sticker sheet. So "Fairy Sweet"!
To finish this page, I added a cute little circle pocket to the corner and a small journaling tag with chunky twine tucked inside. To make it, I punched a scallop circle out of white cardstock using a 3 1/2" punch (a consistent feature used throughout this album). Then I punched a 3" circle out of the the cute heart print called Rainbow Love. I added a few fairies and voila! ... my pages are complete!
To see my other 8x8 pages visit: Spring, Farm, January, February, March, May, June, July, August, October, November, December, February, June, Dog, and December. Happy scrappin'!
