Hoppy Easter Scrapbook Instructions & How To Substitute Products

Hey guys! Hope you had a great weekend. Got the Monday blues? Well, I have something fun for you! I just added the instructions for my retired Hoppy Easter Mini Album to the shop! This one is soooo adorable and in this post, I want to share how easy it is to find substitute products for older collections that have been retired. Take a look ...

To purchase the instructions for this project visit:

First, can I just say that Doodlebug makes the cutest Easter Collections! They never disappoint and their color palette is always consistent. And by that I mean ... the pinks, greens, yellows, etc. they use will always be the same from collection to collection. So, that makes it super easy to mix and match!

Easter scrapbook mini album made with Doodlebug Design Hoppy Easter Collection

This little cutie was originally made with the Doodlebug Hoppy Easter Collection. It's a much older collection so it might be hard to find.

But here's the good news ... Doodlebug's latest Hippity Hoppity collection is so similar! In fact, the grass paper & flower paper on the cover above from the Hoppy Easter collection are almost exactly the same in the new Hippity Hoppity collection. Look! Baby Carrots and Spring Meadow are the same as the papers above!

I love the blue background paper on this page ... but you can easily change it out for the Bunny Town paper. Same idea, it's just a cute tone on tone bunny print instead of the lattice print. That tiny green scalloped trim ... check out this fancy frills. Nailed it! 😉

The beautiful plaid on this page could be swapped out for this paper in the Hippity Hoppity collection called Easter Basket.

And that gorgeous pink stripe paper ... you can use Doodlebug's Petite Prints Dot and Stripe in Bubblegum! Let's not forget that adorable flower border sticker along the top. You could use the Summertime Collection Fancy Frills sticker. Almost an exact match! (Links below.)

NEW! Crafting With My Gnomies Scrapbook Album

Hey guys, I'm so excited that it's Friday! That means that today's the day I get to share another brand new album with you. Yay! It's called Crafting With My Gnomies and yep ... those cute little gnomes are back. They're bringing bright colors, funny sayings and happy prints with them, too!

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

I designed this with a Simple Stories Flipbook and the PhotoPlay, Crafting With My Gnomies Collection. It's perfect for covering all crafty bases whether you enjoy scrapping, photography, knitting, paper crafting, sewing, beading or journaling! This album is great for all.

It has lots of space for fun photos of a night painting with friends, doing art projects with your littles (or grandlittles!), scrappin' with your bestie or ... maybe you take art classes! That's pretty awesome! It's also great for a weekend crop, a craft show, a scrapbook convention or an art fair.

Do you have a beloved scrapbook room or a studio space that's worthy of some pictures?! Take them and save them here along with some of your work!

This would be a great way to document your art through the years. Get into the habit of taking pictures and saving them in an album. Whether it's pottery, paintings, quilts, jewelry, apparel, sculpture, memory albums, cards, etc. It's a great idea to save photos of your work.

If I'm going to have a disorder ... let it be this one, lol! This crafty themed scrapbook is 6"x8", has 20 pages (10 double-sided) and space for 50 photos.

Update: This album has sold out but I've added the links for the Instructions and the products used below. My instructions are simple, step-by-step and include measurements and full color photos of each page. Happy scrappin'!

Hello Spring Easter Album Instructions

Hey scrappers, I have good news! I just added the instructions for one of my retired 2020 albums to the shop. It's my Hello Spring Album and it's simply beautiful. It has a pretty Easter and garden theme with bunnies, bees, flowers and birds!

To purchase the instructions to make this album visit:

This is perfect for pictures of the upcoming holiday with family and friends. Take photos of the littles all dressed up, the Easter baskets, an egg hunt and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Maybe you invited family and friends over to share a special meal. Great! This album has pockets for traditional family recipes, placecards, invitations or extra pictures!

It would make a beautiful scrapbook for professional photos taken in the spring, a park or a garden. Don't forget those special everyday moments of an afternoon outdoors, flowers, gardening, a picnic or playtime in the sunshine.

This album has 12 scrapbook pages (6 double sided), fold-outs, flippies, pockets and space for at least 30 photos. It was originally designed with the Simple Stories, Hip Hop Hooray Collection (links below) but you can substitute any similar supplies.

My instructions are so easy to follow. Anyone can do this! They are step-by-step and include full color photos of each page.
