Hey guys! If you follow me, then you know I love making shaped mini albums. With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner ... I'm excited to share my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. It's a cute little scrapbook titled Pot O Gold that I made with the adorable Lots O' Luck Collection. This was SO FUN!!
The front cover might be my favorite part. I made it out of black chipboard. I layered a few shamrocks, added the round sticker and border piece from the This & That, a ladybug shape sprinkle, some die cuts from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat, and finished off the edges with twine in beetle black!
And look how cute it looks displayed on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. These turn your amazing projects into the best holiday decor that you can set out year after year!
To make the shaped covers and base of my album, I used the Pot O' Gold cutting file from Doodlebug's Happy Go Lucky Collection (link below).
To create the covers and album pages:
1. I separated the pieces and cut the grey (back cover) and black (front cover) pieces out of Silhouette chipboard 3 times.
2. I layered the pieces together to give the covers more strength.
3. I cut 4 more of the black pot design out of white card stock to use as base pages.
4. The white pots (shown above) are the internal offsets (front and back) of the base pages. I cut 4 of each out of pattern paper.

So many rainbows, hearts and polka dots! This may be the happiest mini album I've ever made! 🌈🍀
If you make this project, be sure your pattern paper is in the right direction on your cutting mat. I learned this the hard way when I originally cut the rainbow pattern upside down. 🙃
I
love this flippie with the colorful unicorn. I covered the front
of the card in the Petite Print Floral & Graph paper in swimming
pool and added lots of stickers to create the little outdoor scene.
Inside, there's room for two sweet pictures.
I was so happy with the shiny little ladybug sprinkles! They added such a cute touch to the cover and the page above.
The rainbow, clouds and hearts on the page above are from the Rainbow Doodle-pop. And the cute leprechaun below is also an adorable doodle-pop called Little Leprechaun!
I hope my little project has brightened your day! Doodlebug's Lots O' Luck Collection is so fun and colorful. It's perfect for your spring and St. Patrick's day fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
