I love the Spring Things collection so much, I used it again for a

This is a fun folding card that I created using one of Lori Whitlock's adorable cutting files.

"Building Our Home" was created for a Simple Stories Design Team project. This album documents the story of building
our new home in 2016.

This is my favorite shaped album of the year.  I used a large scallop
Sizzix die to cut out the white chipboard pages.

This is one of my newest projects, Handmade Goodness, and it was created as a DIY kit for my Artsy Albums shop.  For those who love to scrapbook, sew, quilt, knit or paint!  What a fun way to save those wonderful memories !

This darling little box was created with the Doodlebug BooVille collection.  A little album is tucked inside for saving my granddaughter's 1st Halloween memories.

I love this cutting file by Lori Whitlock.  I turned it into a
little gratitude journal for Thanksgiving.

This sweet little Christmas Recipe Album was created

The title on the cover says "Handmade Goodness" and other pages say "Made With Love", "Live Love Create", "I Can Totally Make That",  and on the page above ... "The answer is crafting (I don't care what the question it)". Ha! I love that one!

I create my albums so that photos can easily tuck under embellishments and I always use only acid-free, photo-safe supplies.

Happy New Year Scrapbook Album with Doodlebug

Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. We were asked to mix up a few collections for this week's challenge, so I created a cute Happy New Year Mini Album for the upcoming holiday. I used paper from 3 different collections - Hats Off, Gingham/Linen Prints, and ... ??? Can you find the paper or name the collection that doesn't go with the first two? Take a look ...

I'll tell you the mystery paper in a minute, but first ... you'll notice that I used the Hats Off Collection. It's a graduation line but it worked perfectly for my Happy New Year theme. It's black and white colors and the silver foil were ideal for ringing in 2018!

I was able to use many of the die cuts from the Odds & Ends in the Hats Off Collection too. Half of them are acetate like ... the PARTY, some of the stars, and the cute balloons.

I love the silver foil accents and the adorable little cameras. Above, I even added a firework acetate die cut from the Odds & Ends in the Yankee Doodle Collection. See? Mixin' and matchin'!

Here's the acetate balloons I mentioned. I added a bit of beetle black twine to those. Soooo ... have you discovered the mystery paper yet?  You will find it in the photo above and in the one pictured below!

If you guessed the zebra print from the At The Zoo collection, you are correct!! This was such a fun way to mix prints and embellishments and I hope it's inspired you.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Below are the product links used in this project. 😊
