Hey guys! The fall season is one of my favorite times of year here in Georgia. It's beautiful and the cooler weather is a nice change. It's Thanksgiving season and that reminds me to always be grateful for the wonderful things in my life.
With this is mind, I created a gratitude journal / mini album with the Doodlebug's cute Flea Market Collection and the "Jar of Hearts" cut file (links below).

For the cover, I enlarged the shapes so that the jar was approximately 4.5" x 7.25". Then, I created an offset shape in my Silhouette software and added 1/4" binding holes to the white jar. The offset allows me to cut a slightly larger jar to mat the rest of the cover on.

If you'd like to add some photos to this mini, you could always make some (or all) of the pages with pattern or solid card stock. Or ... simply add some colorful photo mats to a few of the lined pages.

For the inside of the back cover, I used the Tiny Treasure paper again. I just love all the little jars filled with cute items. Leave it plain or ... add a photo or two!

For
the title on the front, I used a scallop oval cut design by Lori
Whitlock for my label and a Doodlebug Family cut file. Instead of
cutting the "family" out, I used the print & cut feature so that I
could add the additional words. (Links below.)
I used the smaller prints in the 6x6 paper pad for the hearts and added lots of pretty enamel dot sprinkles. Then, a little grey doodle twine around the jar's edge and some grey chunky doodle twine around the top.

To finish, I covered a white pen in Fall Flurry washi tape. This makes such great set and a sweet gift idea!
This would be a fun project to create every fall season or Thanksgiving. Recording what family members have been thankful for is always fun to look back on in the years to come (especially the handwritten notes from the children).
