Custom Scrapbook Designs
Good Sunday morning!
Today I'm reminded of how truly blessed I am. In so many ways -- family, friends, health... and at Artsy Albums. Two years ago, I took a huge leap of faith, quit my job, and decided to follow my passion. I hoped and prayed that I would sell just 100 albums in my first year. I did (barely), and thanks to my many wonderful customers, I will soon hit the 750 mark! I'm thrilled that my do-it-yourself kits are a client favorite, and today I wanted to share a few albums you may have never seen -- custom one-of-a-kind albums that were made by special request, for very special people.
Feeling so thankful,

Stitching With Your Silhouette
Happy Saturday Friends!
I hopping on my blog this morning to share a fun Silhouette technique with you. I love the look of stitching on scrapbook projects, but my sewing machine and I have a love/hate relationship -- I would love to use it, but hate lugging it out, threading everything, and then getting reminded how "not good" I am at using it. So, since I use my CAMEO every single day, I've decided that the "look" of stitching will have to do for now.
I created this baby mini album for the Silhouette blog, and posted a tutorial on how to create fun stitch lines with the software's print and cut features. You can check out the whole tutorial here.
I made the base of my album with Silhouette's chipboard. As you all know, I am a chipboard loving girl when it comes to my mini albums, and I was pleasantly surprised with Silhouette's product. It cut beautifully in my machine and added a nice sturdy backing to each of the pages in this album.
So head over to Silhouette to get all of the details on how to make the stitch lines, and for all the links to each shape I used on this mini. Have fun and come back to visit soon!

For the title, I cut several of the same shape out of the chipboard and layered them together to create my own chipboard accent piece. So cool -- I'm going to being doing this more often!

Wedding Memories Scrapbook Album
Hi friends, just a quick post to share another beautiful wedding album that's new to the shop today! It's called Wedding Memories and it's full of soft colors, pretty flowers and great pages for storing your special memories. Take a look!
This album has such cute chipboard embellishments. The ones on the cover are so perfect - the flowing wedding dress and sparkly ring! And we can't forget the fun interactive elements inside like the folds outs, flip-ups and pockets for extra storage!
Save your photos of the happy couple, the proposal, the ring and the wedding in this beautiful scrapbook. You can even add memorabilia to the pockets like ... a shower invitation, place cards, wedding invitation or greeting cards.
This Bella Blvd Collection called Love and Marriage is special. The colors are in dreamy pastels and the patterns are amazing. Fluffy clouds, pink hearts, colorful florals, polka dots and chevrons. I love it!
A happy album for a wonderfully happy time in someone's life! This will make a forever keepsake and be an amazing gift.

We R Memory Keepers Jet Set Projects
Hey guys! Yesterday, I shared the first of two projects that I created for the We R Memory Keepers CHA catalog. It was a really fun 12x12 layout which you can see here. As promised, I'm back today to share my second project.
It's a mini album I made using the same fantastic We R Memory Keepers, Jet Set Collection. When I saw the 12x12 USA map paper, I knew it would be a great cover for a travel album. Wouldn't it be fun to add an enamel dot or gem on the state(s) that you've visited? I love that idea!
I created this gate fold album with a simple piece of chipboard (cut to size) and my Cinch binding tool. If you love minis and don't have a Cinch, I would encourage you to visit the We R Memory's website to check it out. I have cinched many mini albums, school projects and work ones too! Super useful.

12x12 Jet Set Travel Scrapbook Page
Hi scrappers! As many of you know, the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) winter show is in full swing this weekend. Today and tomorrow, I'll be sharing two projects that I created for We R Memory Keepers CHA catalog. I used an awesome travel collection called "Jet Set" and it has wonderful stickers and tags!
Today's project is a great 12x12 page layout. I love the colors, the print papers and the font used in this collection. It all reminds me of a super cool 1960's travel advertisement!
Thanks for stopping by. Check back tomorrow when I'll be sharing the second project I created - a new mini album!

A Winter Silhouette Layout
Happy Friday friends!
I was inspired by all of the chilly (okay...cold!) weather we've been having recently, so today you'll find me over on the Silhouette blog sharing this wintery layout.
How fun is that? I create almost all of my pages this way now. Once I have everything the way I like it, I just move pieces off to the side and start cutting shapes out. It also helps if I use the "fill color" tool. That way, I can cut all of the same color shapes at once! It saves time and paper!
Leave me a comment letting me know if you've ever created a page in your Silhouette software -- I'd love to hear your ideas!

Did you know that you can design your page layout in the Silhouette software? You can even drop in photos so that you can see your page before you ever cut the first piece of paper!
