Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!  It is hard for me to believe that Thanksgiving is already over and Christmas is just a few weeks away!  Then...a new year!  With the new year in mind, I wanted to share a brand new calendar album kit with you...here are the details:

You'll be able to stay organized with a beautiful planner that functions as a calendar, journal, photo album and scrapbook!  Keep it handy to share photos, remember important dates, and take notes.

The calendar journal has 3 divided sections for calendar, journal, and photos. Instructions for completing the covers, and three tabbed chipboard pages are included. There is also a pocket for the inside cover to keep notes, lists, coupons, etc.

Traditions...and a new Christmas Kit

I was thinking about Christmas traditions today...specifically the ones that my family looks forward to each year.  One of our favorites is making gingerbread houses.

We get the whole family involved and make a huge production of it.  In fact, now that the kids are older, it has become somewhat of a day-long competition to see who can create the most unique, colorful house.  We fill tons of little bowls with everything from candy and gum, to pretzels and coconut.  Then each person painstakingly constructs the foundation of their house with graham crackers and icing.

My sister always creates a mid-century modern abode that rivals those seen on HGTV.  Rian's masterpiece is always amazing -- one year he did Hogwarts castle and another year he constructed a two-story mansion with a deck on the back.

My brother-in-law is always in charge of landscaping.  After each house is finished, he adds the roads, trees, gumdrop bushes and water features.

While I was creating a new Christmas mini album kit today, I started looking forward to this fun family tradition and thought I would share some photos from years past...oh, and then there will be a picture of the latest kit too (it's included in the kit sale that runs from 11/14-11/21).

Christmas and Fall Mini Album Projects

I had a wonderful time yesterday at the Reunion Country Club Fall Festival!  The weather was perfect,  the community was so much fun, and I met a lot of new friends!  Thanks so much to everyone that stopped by my booth!

I added another Christmas mini in the shop yesterday too.  I just can't get enough of the Doodlebug North Pole collection....and apparently y'all can't either because it's all selling quicker than I can make it :)  Thank you!!

Another fun project that I want to share today is a custom order that I sent out for an Artsy Albums friend yesterday.  She saw my Fall Blessings album here on the blog on November 2 and asked me to make a similar one for her.

Whimsical Mini Albums with Doodlebug Design

Sometimes scrapbook paper is just so flippin' cute you want to spread it all over the floor and roll around in it...okay, well I want to :)  Doodlebug Design is one of those companies whose collections are always clean, bright, fun and full of the sweetest little creatures!  So today I'm sharing a few new "Doodlebug" minis that are available for purchase in my online shop here.
