NEW! Disney Themed Mouse and Me Scrapbook Kit

Hello ladies! As promised, I'm back to share this week's second NEW kit that will be in my shop on Friday. The first is my 12x12 Craftiness Is Happiness Page Kit and today, I have an adorable Disney themed album titled Mouse and Me. It's filled with classic images of Mickey, Minnie, and their old fashion tugboat! ❤️

Can we just take a minute to address that big fabulous bow? The red color and polka dots are giving me all the feels of Minnie's modern day dress and bow and I am loving it. And ... doesn't the album look extra cute sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand? The stand elevates just enough for it to feel like a little piece of art ... one that's filled with your happy memories. I love that.

I designed this with the Echo Park Mouse and Me Collection that features the traditional red, yellow, black, and white colors, with ... a surprise pop of blue! For the album, I chose the same 6.5" x 7" Simple Stories chipboard binder used in my Ready For Adventure Travel Album but this time, I picked the white version.

The album has 32 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 1 pocket, 7 interactive flippies, and space for 42+ photos. The first page above is one of the fold-outs. On the front, I made the "If you can dream" card into a flippie with space inside for 2 pictures. Then, the whole page opens to the right with more photo mats, AND ... another flippie!

You can use this scrapbook for lots of different photos. Let's start with the most obvious ... a Disney vacation! Add pictures of the theme park, fun with family and friends, the castle, exciting rides, favorite characters, autographs, the parade, Main Street, a show, and the amazing fireworks display.

You can also use this for a celebration, like a themed birthday party, a baby shower / gender reveal, a Disney wedding or honeymoon, or an anniversary. What a sweet keepsake!

Or ... how about photos of a new baby, playing dress-up, Halloween, or for documenting a collection of Disney merchandise or memorabilia?

The sayings in this album are not specific to a theme park, like the "You are my happy place" card above. So, it can also be used for photos of fun everyday moments. Or, if you just love ALL things Disney ... use this cute album for ANY special memory.

The pocket is perfect for saving autographs, tickets, room keys, brochures, park maps, receipts, wristbands, or stickers. I added some fun cards inside that can be used for journaling or photo mats.

This would make a great gift idea. Or ... a super fun way to tell the family (or a friend) that you're taking them on a Disney vacation! Wrap the album, then tell them it's time to fill it with fun memories. How exciting!

NEW! 12x12 Craftiness is Happiness Layout Kit

Hey friends! This Friday, I'll be adding two NEW kits to the shop, and today ... I'm sharing the first one! It's a 6-page 12x12 layout kit titled Craftiness is Happiness that's made with the Doodlebug Design, Color Me Crafty Collection. It's cute and colorful and perfect for photos of a scrapbook retreat and crafting with friends!

These pages feature all sorts of great crafting supplies, cameras, totes, bright happy colors, pretty flowers, beautiful patterns, fun sayings, and a variety of cute ladies that could be us! Since the kit comes with a full package of die cuts ... you can customize everything.

The kit includes the supplies and instructions to create 3 coordinating double page layouts that have 1 pocket and space for 23 photos. All of the pieces are pre-cut for you and packaged by page, so it's super simple to assemble. All you need are your fabulous photos, adhesives, and a paper trimmer or scissors.

Just look at these cute embellishments! That is totally my scrapbook room. I have that pink Doodlebug album, bins full of supplies, pencil cups, washi tape, pink scissors, and colorful embellishments scattered about. 

These layouts are ideal for pictures of an afternoon of scrapbooking, crafting with friends, a weekend retreat, classes, a crop, an expo, craft festival, or your amazing scrapbook room.

If you love Doodlebug Design, then you must love color and cuteness! I mean, just look at those gorgeous hues. And the embellishments are so fun. I totally had that Polaroid camera ^ back in the day!

I added a bunch of journaling cards so you can document your fun moments. If you attended a retreat or crop - you can describe the venue, new friends, the memories behind your photos, your creative process, tools you loved using, techniques you tried, funny stories, or shared meals.

Check out the adorable pocket. I filled it with more journaling cards, but you can also use this space for extra photos or small memorabilia.

My new 12x12 Craftiness is Happiness Layout Kit is perfect for all crafty girls. We love to be creative and scrap with our friends, and we certainly have the photos to prove it! Time to print them off and save them.

12x12 July Calendar Scrapbook Page with Doodlebug

Hi ladies! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project using the adorable Hometown USA Collection. It's a 12x12 July calendar page filled with the cutest images and a festive red, white, and blue color scheme that's perfect for the month. Hang it up to keep track of dates and events, then add it to your scrapbook as the first layout for July!

To make it, I used the blue jean sheet from the Rainbow Day Calendar Kit. This is part of the Day To Day Collection and features the monthly calendar pages, a pack of number stickers, and a pack of month stickers.

Since the July 4th holiday is celebrated with glittery fireworks, I wanted to add a little sparkle. So, I also used the 12x12 sugar coated cardstock in silver. I added a thin border of it towards the top, then created some photo mats with it and a few 12x12 prints. 

Once the papers were adhered, it was time to decorate. I chose the July title, the Home Sweet Home banner, word bubbles, a few hearts, and some stars from the Chit Chat die cuts. Then, I filled in with lots of adorable mini icon stickers including the tiny fireworks, the dog in Uncle Sam's hat, and the sweet little parade. 

I added number stickers to a lot of the days, but not every one since I wanted to make photo mats on some of them. At the bottom, I chose the "proud to be an American" Chit Chat die cuts. They fit perfectly in that narrow space.

NEW! Ready For Adventure Travel Scrapbook Kit

Hi friends! Today, I'm sharing a peek inside this week's NEW scrapbook kit that will be in my shop on Friday. It's titled Ready for Adventure and it's the perfect travel album (or journal) to document your vacations, road trips, and weekend getaways. Whether you're flying, cruising, or driving to your destination, this will make the best souvenir filled with photos, notes, and memorabilia. 

I designed it with the Echo Park, It's Time To Travel Collection that features airplanes, globes, luggage, cruise ships, travel stamps, cars, vintage campers, and more. It has a rich earthy color palette of navy blue, red, forest green, and golden yellow.

For the album, I used a kraft 6.5" x 7" chipboard binder from the Simple Stories SN@P Studio Collection. It has a lay-flat design, 1.5" D-rings, and 10 vertical 4x6 plastic page protectors.

In addition to those sleeves, I've also added 4 cardstock pages and 2 hole punched 4x6 cards. This gives the album a total of 32 pages that include 2 fold-outs, 3 pockets, 10 flippies, and space for 52 vacation photos!

Just inside the cover, you'll see one of the three handy little pockets. I added some journaling cards / photo mats so you have lots of space to document your globe-trotting adventures!

This first layout is awesome. It's packed with interactive goodies and has space for SIX photos! It's a fold-out page with a spot on the front flap for a picture. Then inside, there's a flippie ... that's also a pocket ... with more fun cards tucked inside! Yessss.

This page has another flippie, but this one flips UP and OUT to the left giving you space for 4 photos. I hope you take lots of fun pictures because this mini can store some memories!

This scrapbook is great for ANY type of travel too, like vacationing across the state, sight seeing in a big city, a weekend in the mountains, visiting a national park, spending time with family, or ... exploring the world.

You could also use this as a travel journal. It has tons of space for note taking, stories, funny moments, and descriptions of everything you saw. It's fun size is small enough that you could take it on the trip and journal along the way!

I love this card. The saying is sweet and I really like all the little images from around the world. It's a flippie that opens to the left (with space for 2 pictures), then flips up with room for 2 more.

NEW! Memories To The Max Scrapbook Album Kit

Hi friends! It's time to share this week's totally rad NEW Memories To The Max Scrapbook Kit that will be in my shop on Friday. This boombox shaped mini album has a super retro 1980's vibe that's so fun and nostalgic! I grew up in Florida during the 80's, so I thought the shape would be perfect. If you're a millennial, Gen X, or just love this vintage style ... this one is for YOU! Keep reading for lots of ideas for this most triumphant keepsake, and ... some fun 1980's pic of me! 😄

I designed it with the Simple Stories, Totally 80's Collection that features bright and pastel colors mixed with bold black and white prints. It has geometric patterns, circles, triangles, zigzags, squiggly lines, lightening bolts, grids, and checkerboards. And we can't forget the iconic roller skates, Converse sneakers, Polaroid cameras, Swatch watches, and more. Yep ... feels like the 80's!

For the acrylic album, I created this new boombox shape that's approx. 5 x 8.5 inches. I used black 1/8" acrylic so it's super sturdy. On the cover, I added 2 black acrylic circles for the speakers, a cassette tape die cut, and enamel dots for the buttons and knobs. Perfect.

Inside, there are 14 pages that include 2 fold-outs, 4 pockets, 5 flippies, and space for 36 photos. Above is one of the fold-out pages. It has plenty of space for pictures of our BIG 80's hair. I remember that Aqua Net. It was the only hairspray that would hold through Florida's humidity ... and hurricanes. 😂

And speaking of big hair, let's discuss some fun ideas for this righteous scrapbook. Let's start with ... If you grew up in the 80's: 

• Your childhood - add photos of you, best friends, roller skating, sleepovers, your first car, hobbies, your bedroom, and birthdays.

• Retro Family Album - add pictures of the family, your pets, the 1980's home and its decor, holidays, and family vacations. 

• Class of 1980's - add high school memories of friends, clubs, sports, recitals, ex-boyfriends, pep rallies, homecoming, plays, prom, and graduation.

• 80's Favorites - make this memory scrapbook of your favorite movies, TV shows, music, bands, toys, candy, fashion, hairstyles, and trends.

• Concert Memories - include concert pictures, band and artists' names, ticket stubs, set lists, wristbands, pictures of the band's t-shirts, favorite song, tour programs, pinback buttons, and backstage or VIP passes.

• Mixtape Memories - dedicate each page to a favorite song and the memory connected to it. 

• Then & Now - pair photos from the ’80s with current photos of the same people.

 

If you didn't grow up in the 80's but LOVE this wicked retro theme, here are some fun ideas:

• Totally Rad Birthday - perfect for an ’80s-themed birthday party, graduation party, or anniversary.

• Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - use this for photos of a girlfriend trip, girls’ night out, fun moments with your bestie, or a fabulous retreat weekend.

Because of the album's radio / boombox shape, think of musically inspired themes you could use this for, like: 

• Music Through the Years - add your favorite artists, albums, concerts, playlists, and musical memories from ANY decade. 

• Dance Party Scrapbook - use this mini for school dances, weddings, parties, karaoke nights, or dance recitals.  

• Vacation Mixtape - turn a fabulous trip into your own “greatest hits” collection and add photos of your favorite memories. 

• The Soundtrack of My Life - use each page for a different era, person, or milestone and the song that reminds you of it.

• Roller Rink Memories - skating parties, roller derby, or retro-themed events.

So many fun possibilities! I hope this unique shaped scrapbook makes you smile and becomes a forever keepsake for your memories. Ok, time for some photos!

Look at that hair! I love looking back on these old photos. So fun! Jack and I have been together since high school so he's in a lot of my pictures. In the bottom left corner ... he's wearing zubaz pants! Lol! Who remembers those? The photos are super grainy, but thought it would be fun to share!
