You Are My Sunshine Scrapbooking Retreat and Projects

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing about our next scrapbook retreat called You Are My Sunshine and giving you a peek inside the two kits we'll be creating. On Sat. May 3rd, I'll be teaming up with Lindsay Wahl for a 1-day virtual scrapbooking event via Facebook. It's on InterNational Scrapbook Day and the theme is sunshine, summer, and bright happy colors. It's going to be a super fun and crafty afternoon! 🌞

This event will feature 2 exciting classes ... a 6x8 inch Sunny Days Mini Album workshop with me and a 12x12 6-page layout workshop with Lindsay of Lindsay's Layouts.  

If you purchase the full retreat (vs. access only), a box will be shipped to you that includes the two kits, make & takes, an exclusive enamel pin, bingo, and some fun goodies! On Saturday, both classes will be LIVE in a private Facebook group that will be recorded and saved for 30 days (the new Facebook limit).

If you purchase the access only option, you will NOT receive any products but you will be added to the private Facebook group where you can watch the classes LIVE (or the recorded version on your own time). Supply lists and class instructions will be posted in the Facebook group in April and you would use your own supplies and tools to complete the projects. 

⭐ Here's a peek inside my Sunny Days Mini Album Kit ...

I designed this with a 6x8 inch Doodlebug Design binder album in bumblebee yellow and the Simple Stories Summer Snapshots Collection. 

It has such pretty colors and wonderful images of the sun, beach chairs, flowers, banners, ice cream cones, sand castles, a pink moped, picnic supplies, and more. I just 💛 it!

Inside, there are 22 scrapbook pages that include 4 pockets, 3 fold-out pages, 5 flippies, and space for 50+ photos (and more in the extra clear divided page protectors that come with the album).

My kit will include the Doodlebug binder, pre-cut pattern paper and card stock, chipboard embellishments, card stock stickers, rub-on embellishments, enamel dots, and element cards. So many fun items!

All you need to have are some basic scrapbooking tools - a paper trimmer, scissors, bone folder or scoring tool, and adhesive (tape runner, liquid, pop dots, score tape or red line).
