12x12 Cookies and Kisses Scrapbook Layout

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing a "sweet" 12x12 scrapbook page that can be used for photos of baking or (with one small tweak) for your Valentine's Day pictures. I created this layout with the Doodlebug Design, Made with Love Collection that's filled with yummy treats, hearts, and lots of loving sentiments. 💕

My granddaughter & I love baking cookies together and on this day, we made one of my mom's favorite recipes ... peanut butter kiss cookies. Oh, so good! ❤️ 

The papers I chose for this layout are pretty generic, so ... it could easily be used for Valentines Day pics by simply changing out the baking embellishments at the bottom of the page. Everything else works great!

For the base, I used the cute red pattern paper called Cinnamon Hearts, then added white cardstock on top. Next, I used the front and back side of the print called Apron Strings to create a colorful section on the left side. I cut out a red photo mat using the same heart print as the base, then added the "sweet", the XOXO, and the heart banner die cuts from the Chit Chat (product links below).

At the bottom, I created a little cluster of cuteness! I added a mint colored mixer (Mixed with Love Doodle-pops), some die cuts from the Odds & Ends, the yellow whisk (Baker's Kneads Doodle-pops), and 1 teeny tiny chocolate chip from the Bitsy Chips shape sprinkles. Ha! Even the names of these products are cute!

Finally, I created a small pocket with the pretty mint plaid paper. I added my photo on top, then tucked some journaling and recipe cards inside. What a perfect spot to save notes, a grocery list, or to tell the story of your fun afternoon in the kitchen.

If you're making this layout for Valentine's Day memories, the pocket could be used for love notes, the small card that comes with flowers, tickets from a fun activity, extra photos, and journaling cards.
