Hello! Ready for a peek into this week's NEW scrapbook kit that will be in my shop on Friday? It's a beautiful 6x8 inch mini album titled Memories This Is Our Story and it has a wonderfully generic theme. It's filled with flowers, butterflies, and sweet home items so it's perfect for photos of family, friends, and everyday moments.

I designed this with a Doodlebug Design binder in mint and the Simple Stories, Front Porch Collection. On the cover, I added lots of pretty papers and embellishments to create a very layered and collaged look.

Inside, I added some gorgeous flower die cuts and extended them off the top edge of the pages. Don't they look like they're growing out of the album or like they're pressed flowers laid between the pages? I love it!

Just inside the cover, I included a small envelope and added a camera and flowers to the front. I made a few photo mats / journaling spots and tucked them into the pocket.

The album has 12 scrapbook pages that include 3 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 7 flippies, and space for 38 photos on the pages and many more in the plastic pocket pages.

Here is one of the fold-out pages. The yellow gingham is the top flap which also has a flippie on the front. These pretty embellishments above are what you see underneath a folding card that says "Enjoy every moment". 💛

This album is so versatile and great for saving any pictures throughout the year. Add photos of family gatherings, the littles or grandlittles, friends, a birthday celebration, Sunday dinners, date night, a graduation, spring, the holidays, school memories, a new baby, or ... a fabulous vacation!

I love the little detail on this page. I made half the layout a large flippie and folded the bottom corner just a bit to show off the pretty gingham paper inside. Then, I tucked a round journaling spot and a few flower die cuts behind the fold and added an enamel dot to finish it off.
