It's Friday (yay!) and that means I have a fun NEW scrapbook kit in the shop! We're knee-deep into summer when most of us have plans to travel so, today's mini album is perfect for saving those vacation photos. It's titled Let's Get Away and it's filled with rainbow colors, lots of travel icons, and a universal theme.
For this project, I created a brand new 3.5" x 8.5" white acrylic album titled Skinny Acrylic Mini Album.
I also used the Paige Evans Adventurous Collection designed for American Crafts. It has beautiful gold foil accents that I love, flowers, butterflies, maps, suitcases, airplanes, boats, bicycles, hot air balloons, & more. So, all types of travel are covered!
Inside, there are 16 pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 5 flippies, and 4 fun insert pieces (2 postcards, a tag, and a file card for journaling). So many goodies! And did you see the airplane made of flowers above? So pretty.
Just look at all the beautiful colors and patterns on these pages. On the left, I attached a cute tag that makes a fun folding element. And on the right, an entire fold-out page that opens up to reveal ...
... photo mats, pink daisies, and another great spot to journal about your adventures!
I love small details like this tag with the cute pink camper (I want a pink camper!), the polka dot ribbons, the patterned page tabs (LOVE the daisies), and the file card for journaling. Details matter, so be sure to document some specifics about your travels. One day ... you'll be glad you did. :)
This album would be great for pictures of a quick weekend away, a fun adventure in the city, traveling abroad, a road trip, a spa weekend with the girls, a cruise, or any sightseeing trip ... anywhere!
Check out this new flippie page! Yep, that's right ... PAGE! It's 3 photo mats that are attached only on the left side. So, these mats free swingin' and make a interesting space for 6 photos (front & back).
And finally, no Artsy Albums mini would be complete without a cute little pocket. I added a purple frame with flowers to the front, and inside ... a few journaling cards and photo mats.
