The Perfect Recipe Album with Doodlebug

Hello everyone! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. It's a mini recipe album on a clipboard that's filled with pretty flowers, hearts, and the cutest little kitchen supplies. I created it with the wonderful Made With Love Collection and it's a great place to store your favorite recipes!

I found this ring binder clipboard in my stash. It's by Maggie Holmes and it's called a Crate Paper Open Album. The clipboard was a woodgrain pattern so I covered it with the pretty 12x12 plaid paper called Cupcake Cuties.

Then, I created a cover page for my recipes with white card stock. I added the 6x6 paper titled Heartwarmer to the lower half and the scalloped border sticker from the This and That sheet. 

For the center embellishments, I used the scallop circle sticker from the This and That and layered a 2.25" circle punched from the 6x6 Bake Me Happy polka dot paper. Then, I finished it with a few flower and heart die cuts from the Odds & Ends. 

Inside the cover page, I added more of the 6x6 Bake Me Happy paper, then ... the cute recipe cards! I added 35 of them. I punched holes in the top of each one and added them to the rings.

I love the recipe cards in this collection. The set includes 36 double-sided cards. There are six of each design that have a pretty pattern along the bottom and a cute image in the corner.

At the bottom of the clipboard, I layered more die cut pieces from the Odds & Ends and added the "perfect recipe" piece from the Chit Chat. And that's it! Easy peasy!

NEW! You Make me Happy Scrapbook Mini Album

Hello friends! It's Friday ... my favorite day of the week where I introduce a brand new scrapbook kit into the shop. Today, I have a super cute mini album that will have you looking forward to spring! It's titled You Make Me Happy and it's perfect for photos of spring, Easter, family, friends, everyday memories, Mother's Day, birthdays, and even summer!

I designed it with the adorable Doodlebug, Over the Rainbow Collection. It's filled with bright, happy colors and spring images of hot air balloons, gnomes, flowers, mushrooms, rainbows, ladybugs, butterflies, and lots of pretty patterns. 

For the scrapbook, I used my Acrylic Dog House Shaped Album. It may be titled dog house but you can use this little cutie for ANY theme ... like spring! The album measures approx. 6x6 overall and has two 1/8" white acrylic covers. The front cover and pages measuring 4.25" x 5.75".

I made the front into a cute cottage with pretty blue woodgrain siding, 2 polka dot windows, a front door with tiny hearts, and a sweet little picket fence with a flower garden in front.

Inside, there are 16 pages that include 4 fold-out pages (like the one above), 1 pocket, 4 flippies, and space for 30 of your wonderful spring / summer photos.

I designed this album with lots of fun die cuts that extend beyond the top of the pages. They're so cute and colorful! I love the layers at the top and wanted you to still be able to see them as you flip through the pages.

Above, is another folding element with a cute little mushroom house die cut. I love the beautiful rainbow paper on the page behind it. What a great spot for fun selfies with friends or family, Easter, an egg hunt, a rainbow, a beautiful garden, or planting flowers with the littles.  

You could also add pictures of a farmers market, spring break vacation, a visit to see the cherry blossoms, a picnic in the park, a birthday party, new baby photos, or fun in the backyard!

The pocket has some awesome journaling cards or you could save memorabilia here, like ... tickets to movie, a Broadway show, a school play, a church event, graduation, or fun activity. Add a few pressed flowers from your garden, a pack of seeds, a special card or invitation, or a postcard from your spring travels.

My NEW You Make Me So Happy Album would be a beautiful keepsake for your memories ... OR an amazing handmade gift for Easter, Mother's Day, or birthday!! Ohhhh, what about using it as a sweet little brag book? Fill it with precious baby pictures and give it to the grandparents. After all, the title is You Make Me So Happy. I think they'd love it. 😊

OOAK Epic & Amazing Scrapbook Album

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, I have a NEW one-of-a-kind mini album titled Epic & Amazing that I've just added to the shop! It's filled with race cars, dinosaurs, and skateboards. So, if you have a little boy (or girl!) who loves these things ... this would make a super cute keepsake for their photos.

I designed this with a black 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder and the PhotoPlay Bro's Amazing Collection. There are images of game controllers, a Rubik's cube, race cars, a telescope, plaids, sports, burgers, pizza, and more!

This album has 20 pages that include 2 folding pages, 1 pocket, 5 flippies, and space for at least 60 photos.

The colors are "epic" with shades of blue, grey, orange, red, and black.

You can add pictures of everyday memories, a birthday party, skateboarding, fun with friends, playing video games, time at school, and exciting moments playing sports! 

What about a fun afternoon of go-kart racing or a day at an arcade like Dave & Busters. Kids loves that!

This album would also make a perfect gift idea for a new baby. With space for 60+ pictures, parents can add photos now and for years to come!

This pocket is perfect for saving memorabilia like brochures or tickets to a ballgame, a dinosaur museum, a monster truck show, a NASCAR racing event, or your child's favorite movie. You can also add baby footprints, a birth announcement, a party invitation, awards, and report cards.

I love this page for pictures of siblings, or ... best friends that just feel like brothers. 😊

NEW! Spring Scrapbook Album & 12x12 Layout Kits

Happy Friday friends! Today is a BIG DAY ... I have two super pretty NEW scrapbook kits in the shop and they're perfect for your spring pictures. One is an amazing mini album in a box and the other is four 12x12 page layouts. I think you're going to have fun with these!

First up is my Hooray for Spring Album ...

I designed this with the Carta Bella, Here Comes Spring Collection and it's oh so beautiful! There are soft pastel colors and spring images of flowers, umbrellas, bees, beehives, a pink pick-up truck, a pink bicycle, rainbows, cute rain boots, watering cans, birdhouses, and colorful spring bonnets.

It's made with a Graphic 45 Album in a Box and it measures 5.5" x 5.5" x 2". This style of scrapbook is so fun. I used it for my Hi Friend Album, which I really loved. The box includes an album that can be attached inside after embellishing the pages. The box lid has a side flap with a hidden magnet to keep it closed.

Open it up and there's is a cute pocket on the inside cover. I covered the front of the pocket with a pretty umbrella pattern paper and tucked some journaling cards / photo mats inside.

On the right side, there are 15 scrapbook pages that fit into the box's shape. They include 7 pockets, 5 flippies, and space for at least 25 photos.

Oh my goodness, these pages are so cute!! And this photo above shows you a better look at how this album in a box lays out. It's filled with all sorts of fun interactive elements!

This album would be perfect for photos of everyday moments, family, friends, spring, the Easter holiday, Mother's Day, a bridal or baby shower, church gatherings, gardening, or a wonderful spring vacation.

People always ask me for multi-photo layouts and I can totally relate to that. I love a pretty page but I also like to save as many pictures as I can on them. So, these 4 layouts have space for 21 photos in total. Yessss!

Both of these kits would also be perfect for pictures of an outdoor festival or farmers market, a family photo shoot, a birthday or anniversary, a botanical garden, a butterfly farm, a picnic in the park, and flying kites!

On this page, I added a flippie with pretty flowers and a cute little oval window!

Lots of Love Window Circle Scrapbook Album

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and it's a fun mini album idea for your holiday photos. It's also a great project for saving photos of the people you love!

For this album, I used the adorable Lots of Love Shadow Box Insert Kit and one of my 8x8 Acrylic Square Circle Window Albums. I really enjoyed creating the cover!  It's very relaxing to place each of the pieces using the simple template, and I love the texture it gives to the front of my album.  

For the page above, I added a nice big photo mat to the pretty All My Love paper, and embellished with Bits & Pieces, Odds & Ends, and Chit Chat.  I love the little tags and chunky twine sticking up over the top!

More Bits & Pieces helped give the next page the feeling of a photo being tucked into a bouquet of flowers.  There's even a tag for journaling or a sweet sentiment. 

It wouldn't be one of my minis without a pocket!  I added a little shine to this one with the rainbow and heart shaped sprinkles from the Love Is In the Air pack, and then I tucked in cards, journaling spots, and a photo mat.

This page includes one of Doodlebug's cute bubblegum envelopes, a pocket for more tags, and a Bouquet of Love Doodle-Pops! So much texture and dimension on this fun page!

I really love this page.  Since the page itself is 8"x8", I was able to adhere a full sheet of 6x6 paper to the center.  I used the sheet with all of the little cut apart cards and turned 11 of them into little photo mats.  I think lots of tiny pictures will look so cute here!

That little birdhouse hanging from the limb so tooo cute!  It's from the Odds & Ends die cuts, and so is that colorful rainbow.  Hearts and scallops and stripes on one die cut? Yes please!

I layered the mailbox die cut over the one on the front of the 3x4 card to add some dimension to the page above.  That card is also a flippie so extra photos can be tucked inside -- 4 photos on one page! I love that!
