Hello crafters! Today is Lori Whitlock's January Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site too because she has a sale and more great products for you!
For my project today, I
made a pretty birthday card with a cute polka dot cake, candles, and flowers. I made it using one of Lori's amazing cutting files called A2 Birthday Cake Card Flowers (links below).
I made it with paper from the Echo Park, Happy St. Patrick's Day Collection designed by Lori. This line is giving me happy spring feelings and I love it! I chose the stripe called March Blooms for the front and the cute dot is the backside of the journaling cards.
For the candles, the flowers, and the cake border, I used the beautiful solids in this collection. I added some yellow gems for the candles' flames and some tiny enamel star stickers for more interest (links below).
Here is Lori's cutting file that I used ...
I hope you'll give this beautiful birthday card a try. It was easy and lots of fun! There are more inspiring projects to see today, so ... be sure to hop to each blog for more great ideas!
