Hello friends and Happy Blog Hop day! Today is Lori Whitlock's June Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. Be sure to also visit Lori's site because she has a sale and more great products for you!
For my project today, I made a library pocket using one of Lori's really fun and simple cutting files called Library Pocket Card Camera (product links below). Look how cute!
Library pockets are such useful little embellishments for scrapbookers, card makers, writers, artists, and other paper crafters. They make a great addition to scrapbook pages, greeting cards, or journals and they're perfect for holding notes, journaling cards, embellishments, photos, or gift cards.
I made mine super girly with pink hearts, but ... you could change up the paper and replace the flower with a different embellishment. You could customize it for Father's Day or any occasion!
The file includes two "print & cut" library style cards for notes or journaling. You could use these to document an event, date, location, or people's names. If the pocket's being used to hold a gift card, you could include a sweet note. Or ... use the cards to tell a story, write about your thoughts, or as photo mats!
There are more inspiring projects to see today, so be sure to hop to each blog for lots of great ideas!
