Hey there scrappers! Today, I have a "happy" and colorful 12x12 layout to share with you that I made using a great cutting file and lots of Doodlebug cuteness. It's perfect for photos of family, friends, spring, summer, a birthday, your sweet pet, or simple everyday moments. Check it out ...
It's so cute, right?! I found this cutting file called Heart Burst by Paige Evans (links below). I loved the rays coming off the heart and couldn't wait to fill them with lots of fun prints. So ... I started with a piece of 12x12 black card stock for the base and used the file to cut the heart burst shape out of white.
Next, I chose a bunch of pattern papers from Doodlebug's Over the Rainbow, My Happy Place, and Petite Prints (links below). I cut each piece to the appropriate size and glued them between the black and white.
For the right side, I cut three 3" squares out of Doodlebug's candy stripe & sprinkles petite prints in swimming pool, bumblebee, and cherry (my favs!) and created the photo mats. Then, I added some cute die cuts and stickers from the Over the Rainbow collection. Done!
I'm so HAPPY with this layout. It was lots of fun to make and it'll be perfect for some family photos. Hope you like it too and have a great day!
