Hello friends! Today, I thought it'd be fun to start the new year with some Doodlebug cuteness. So, I made a 12x12 January calendar page for 2023! You can hang these layouts in your scrapbook room or on the fridge, but ... they reeeeally make the cutest title or first page in your scrapbook for the beginning of each month!
Also, I'm super excited to announce that this month, I'll be carrying Doodlebug's brand new calendar pages in my shop! These packs will include 12 colored calendar sheets, monthly stickers, and numbers for the dates!
For this design, I used one of Doodlebug's Daily Doodles calendar pages and the Winter Wonderland collection. I chose some pretty 12x12 prints and layered them on the top and bottom sections and in a few of the boxes for interest. The January title is from the Daily Doodles monthly stickers. (Product links below.)
To decorate, I chose a few larger die cut pieces from the Odds and Ends. Inside the calendar's boxes, I wanted something smaller so I added stickers from the mini icons.
The
days of the week are already pre-printed so, I just embellished these spaces with mini jewels. Then, I used Doodlebug's All Occasion Calendar Stamps in Typewriter to randomly add numbers to some days.
I used Doodlebug's All Occasion - Everyday Stamps to add the little balloons and Birthday words to a few of my boxes. And for New Year's Day, I used a stamp from Doodlebug's All Occasion - Holiday.
I just love the puffy stickers from the Candy Cane Lane Collection so I added some snowflakes from that, a few puffy Alphabet Soup numbers in Blue Jean, and some pink heart shape sprinkles. And voila ... done!
