Guess what! Yesterday, I found 2 retired kits that were never put on my blog. I have no idea why, but ... they're too cute not to share! AND I've listed the instructions for them in my shop so you can recreate them! Both are titled Trick or Treat and made with Doodlebug's Booville Collection. One is an album kit and the other is a 12x12 six page layout kit. Take a look ...
For the scrapbook, I decorated the cover using die cuts from the Odds and Ends, the 12x12 paper called Pick-A-Pumpkin, and for the green slime ... a Martha Stewart punch called Drippy Goo. Such a good punch!
I also used cards and envelopes throughout the entire album. They're from the Halloween assortment and they make awesome flippies and creative places to store photos and memorabilia. I decorated the card above with a rainbow Halloween die cut and a cute little kitty sticker.
Here are 2 flippies that would be perfect for photos of your littles all dressed up on Halloween night.
There are 6 pocket pages in this mini. Yeah, six! I included journaling cards/photo mats in each one. Above, I gave one of them a scalloped circle tab that I made using a 1.5" scalloped circle punch and a 1.25" circle punch. The orange card was part of the cards and envelope assortment and I simply embellished it.
I love the purple haunted house flippie and the die cuts used to decorate this fun page. Notice the clear acetate spider web in the background? Those are so awesome and part of the Odds and Ends as well.
There are 2 folding pages in the album with all kinds of goodies tucked in behind them. There are more spider webs, a pretty shaped flippie, and a spider hanging from twine.
My instructions include color photos of every single page and honestly, each page is better than the next. Really. There are so many creative scrapbooking ideas in this album that could be replicated with ANY collection.
Next up ... 6 Trick or Treat 12x12 Layouts!
If you're a scrapper that loves a more traditional sized 12x12 album ... I have something for you too! These layouts use Doodlebug's Booville Collection also and would be such a great addition to any album.
This little row of houses is adorable! Look closely ... they have googly eyes peeking out the windows, ghosts & spiders hangin' around, and smiling pumpkins on the front porches. Doodlebug's details are crazy good.
I used lots of die cuts from the Odds and Ends, stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet and the 12x12 prints on these pages. I love the ghost print above called Fa-boo-lous.
These layouts would be amazing filled with photos of Halloween night, trick-or-treating, a party, pumpkin patch, school costume parade, or pictures from a haunted house. And check out the scalloped border sticker along the bottom with the rainbow colored dots!
The instructions for these 6 pages are simple, step-by-step, and also include color photos of each page. Since both of these kits were created and retired prior to last year, they do not include the measurements. However, they are filled with great ideas and are easy to replicate.
