Hey friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's October Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site because she has a sale, a giveaway and an awesome freebie for you!
For
my project today, I created a cute wooden cell phone (or tablet) holder using one of Lori's amazing cutting files called Home Pumpkin.
Although I created this with my Glowforge machine and wood, this file would be great for card making, a scrapbook layout, in a frame, cut with fabric for a pillow to quilt, or any fall crafting project.
I can't wait to use this beautiful file in future scrapbook projects. Today, I wanted to make something totally different and super practical for my phone. I love the way it turned out!
And look how cute it looks sitting on my kitchen counter! There are more inspiring projects to see today so be sure to hop to each blog! Your next stop today is Kathy's site!
While you're hopping through the creative team's fun projects, don't forget about the other great things Lori has for you today!
WOW amazing work using the Glowforge - wish I had one of those - nice job! TFS and for the hop
ReplyDeleteI really like this. What a neat idea for this file.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I love that cell phone holder
ReplyDeleteHi Traci, what wood did you use for the phone holder. it has a beautiful grain. Also wondering if you made up the file or bought it and if so where? or if you made it, are you selling the file? I have a diode laser cutter, and am having fun with it. So much to learn, but using my cameo has prepped me for using light burn! Thank you for your time. As always, love all you create and thank you for sharing!
