Today is World Card Making Day! This is a fun reminder of the importance of making cards and paper crafts (which you know, I love!) and how they can be used to create memories and connect with others. Yay! I'm all about it and ready to celebrate, so ... I made some festive fall cards to honor the day. Take a look ...
How cute are these?! I used the Doodlebug Pumpkin Spice Collection and some adorable Doodle-pops. Each card is A2 size at 4.25"x 5.5" and they were super fun to make. I can't wait to send them out!
For this Happy Fall Y'all card, I used white card stock and papers from the 6x6 paper pad. The cute little mug is the Doodle-pops called Pumpkin Spice and I layered it on top of a 3" circle and a 3.5" scalloped circle. (Product links below, including the punches used.)
I found the word bubble in the Chit Chat, added the 2 enamel hearts from the Doodle-pops and voila! Perfect lil card for sending someone a whole latte love, lol!
Next up is this sweet little Hello card with a friendly bear and 2 adorable bees. I layered the Petite Prints Gingham and Linen in swimming pool on top of the white card stock. I added the 6x6 leaf print, then the bear sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet. For more dimension (and to double the cuteness!), I layered the Beary Cute Doodle-pops on top of the matching bear sticker and finished it off with the little bees. I think this one is my favorite!
My last one is the Hello Pumpkin Card. I love the smiling faces on these pumpkin die cuts ... especially the one peeking through the fence! I used white card stock, a 6x6 striped print, and die cuts from the Odds and Ends and Chit Chat.
These cards are such a simple and FUN project ... your littles could even help you make them. And think of how meaningful it is to the recipient that you handmade them a card. Fun project for you AND you make someone's day brighter. Sounds like a win win to me!!
Happy World Card Making Day everyone!
