2 NEW Fall Scrapbook Album Kits

Hello everyone & happy Friday! Today, I have 2 exciting kits to share with you. They're perfect for the fall season yet very different from each other in the best ways. You can pick your favorite or ... buy them both! 🧡

First up ... is my clear acrylic scrapbook titled "Happy Together". It's a beautiful mini album that's perfect for your favorite photos of fall, family, home, a vacation or your wonderful Thanksgiving Day memories.

Happy Together Scrapbook Instructions

 I designed it with the Simple Stories, Vintage Country Harvest collection and my custom 4x7 inch Scallop Edge Acrylic Album. The cute scallops run down one side of the front and back covers. This acrylic album comes in the kit but it's also available separately in my shop and can be used for ANY scrapbook project.

I added a laser cut wooden leaf charm, twine and plaid ribbon to the top book ring. Love the little detail!

Inside there are 12 pages that include 2 fold-outs, 3 flippies, 1 pocket and space for 20+ photos. The autumn colors in this collection are really pretty and I love the little butterflies here and there throughout the album.

The pocket has cards inside that you can use as mats for photos or journaling. It's also a perfect spot for a favorite fall recipe, a special greeting card, or tickets.

The smaller size and shape of this album makes it a unique present for someone or ... an amazing hostess gift for Thanksgiving! Such a great idea and a really nice way to show your appreciation. And after the holiday, they will have a keepsake to fill with photos from the day.

Fall Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this with the Simple Stories, Harvest Market Collection and a pretty 6x8 inch teal binder. There are 24 scrapbook pages that include 3 fold-outs, 2 pockets, and 6 fun interactive flippies.

The inside cover sets the tone with a cheerful greeting. I love the Hello Autumn card! There's also an interesting spot for journaling and lots of colorful pumpkins.

With the change in seasons, comes fun activities and new photo opportunities! Here are some fall activity ideas that would be great for this album ...

... a fall festival, the pumpkin patch, Halloween, apple picking, a corn maze, a high school homecoming parade, football games, Thanksgiving, and all the colorful outdoor changes. It’s a wonderful time for pictures.

And this larger sized album can definitely handle all the fun! It has space for 60+ photos so be sure to take pictures, print them (people tend to forget this part, lol), and save them in this beautiful fall keepsake.

12x12 Great Outdoors Layout #2 with Doodlebug

Hello scrappers! Today, I'm sharing my next Doodlebug Design Team project ... it's a cute 12x12 companion page for my first Great Outdoors layout. Since I know lots of you love double-page layouts, I created it's mate! In case you missed the first page, I've added a pic below and you can get all its details here.

With the fall season upon us, the Great Outdoors Collection was perfect for this page. It works for everyday photos, camping, hiking, vacations in the mountains, a trip to a National park, or simply enjoying nature. 

And ... here's the new second page! I like to make the layouts look like they flow together. So for this one, I started by using the same woodgrain paper for the base, then layered a piece of the Happy Camper paper on the left side of the page to follow the design of page 1.

Then I added the blue plaid (called Sleeping Bag) on the right side of the page to tie into the plaid mat and cute trees. I also used the same mat colors on this page, and the pretty floral print for a cohesive look. Perfect for 4 more photos!

A note about the die cuts I used on both pages:  In my last post I told you I used Odds & Ends from the Great Outdoors. I did, but when creating this second page, I realized that some of the odds & ends were actually from the Pumpkin Spice collection. So sorry for this confusion, but it's one reason I love Doodlebug so much ... all of the collections coordinate so well together and I love mixing and matching!

12x12 Hearth & Home Autumn Layouts

Hi everyone! If you follow me on social media, you may have noticed that I recently traveled to Salt Lake City to attend the Simple Stories Get Creative Retreat. It was just amazing and there were so many wonderful classes. Today, I thought I'd share two 12x12 layouts that I made in one of them. 

These pages were designed for a class taught by Jodi Sanford (@makeaprettylife). She used the gorgeous Simple Stories collection called Hearth & Home. I changed up a few small details to make it my own, but overall I loved her designs!

For these autumn inspired layouts, we used 12x12 pattern papers, Bits & Pieces, Page Pieces, self-adhesive brads, and a few sheets from the 6x8 paper pad (product links below).

If you need a little extra spot to journal, you could always turn the black floral paper into a pocket so the cute striped tag could be removable. Perfect for dates, locations, people's names or ... a meaningful story.

Aren't these earthy fall colors beautiful? They look so good mixed with the black and woodgrain papers.

These layouts would be perfect for family gatherings, professional photos, a vacation, everyday moments, or even Thanksgiving.

Family & Fall Scrapbooking Kits

Hello my friends!  I got home from the Simple Stories (AMAZING) Get Creative retreat on Sunday night and have spent the week shipping, and planning, and ordering, and cutting, and packaging, and assembling, and all the things!  So, I'm super excited to share my TWO new kits with you today.

First up ... a new Pumpkin Spice 12x12 page kit.  Six pages, an adorable Doodlebug collection, and a full package of coordinating Odds & Ends die cuts!  What's not to love with this one?  So fun!

I love the colors in this collection. The pop of teal makes me so happy!  And you've told me what makes you happy ... getting lots of pictures on a page and 2-page layouts. So, I got you!!

 

With this kit, you'll get three double-page layouts. On these three spreads, you'll be able to fit 24 photos. :) That's a lot of pictures and memories!

First of all, can we talk about the pretty fall colors, the watercolor feel, and the texture of Carta Bella's amazing card stock? Beautiful!
