Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing a cute project that I made for cookies! 🍪 But, you could use these for any yummy treat like donuts, candy, small toys, etc. I made 2 summer inspired boxes that would be perfect for gifting homemade goodies or use them as party favors. Because they're so colorful, fun and have such cute tags ... they would also look great displayed on a table for a party or summer BBQ.
To make them, I chose one of Lori Whitlock's awesome cutting files called Cookie Box Thank You (link below) and the Echo Park paper collection called Endless Summer, also designed by Lori. The colors and patterns are bright and cheerful. Perfect for summer!
I cut the base of each box out of 12x12 solid card stock from the Endless Summer collection - one in blue and the other in red. Then I covered the top and the sides with prints from the 6x6 paper pad. For the blue box, I made the tag using the scalloped circle that came with the cutting file and the Hello Summer die cut from the ephemera. Cute!
These boxes can be made with ANY paper collection to change up the theme. Imagine holiday, birthday and all the different seasons you could use! They make beautiful homemade (and yummy!) gifts for Mother's Day, a thank you, welcome to the neighborhood, teacher, dog walker, co-worker or hostess.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope these inspire you to make some cookie boxes of your own!
