Hey friends! Last Thursday was National Crayon Day and it inspired me to create a really cute mini album in the shape of a little red crayon. What a fun keepsake for school photos and ... it also makes a wonderful gift for a teacher!
I've added the instructions for this project and the red Acrylic Crayon Shaped Album to my shop. If you need a little more guidance to recreate this, I've got you! My instructions are simple and the red acrylic album is so darn cute! (Links below.)
I used red acrylic for the covers and white card stock for the inside pages. However, you could easily make the entire album out of card stock if you have a cutting machine. I used a Doodlebug cut file called Crayons.
I designed the album with Doodlebug's School Days Collection and used a mix of 12x12 and 6x6 papers.
I added pieces from the Chit Chat that have grades K-5 on them so you can include your little's favorite moments from each year. Add their official school photo, pictures with friends, a recital, a play, their science fair project, fun at recess, awards, art projects, a class party, or sports they're involved in.
I just love the small 6x6 print on the flippie above. It's probably my favorite in the collection. So many little smiling faces and cute things to look at.
This album is 3.5” x 10” and will hold 22 photos. Add different sized pictures, even tiny ones! They create interest in an album. You can print them at home, at big box stores, or my favorite, Persnickety Prints.
Below are the links for the Instructions & other products used. This is a great DIY scrapbook
project that can be used for everyday photos or fun memories of school, craft projects, art class, or camp. Happy scrappin'!
