Acrylic Snow Globe Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and it's so stinkin' cute! It's a mini album in the shape of a snow globe!! From the second I saw the Let it Snow collection, I knew I was making this. The Christmas and winter theme, the cute animals, and Santa. Yep ... had to make a snow globe.

I started by making the shaped album using a Let it Snow, Snow Globe cutting file (link below). I cut mine out of white acrylic but you could easily use white card stock instead.

 

I love that this collection is a mix of Christmas and winter, so you can add pictures of friends, family, fun in the snow, a visit with Santa, Christmas morning, and any wonderful memory from the season.

 

Just inside the cover, I've added lots of cute die cuts to create a sweet little snow scene from the North Pole. I love Santa's workshop nestled in the trees with the snow capped mountains in the background. 

 

 

The pages inside are made of white card stock and pretty patterned papers. With the "you're snow cute" word bubble, I think this is a great spot for a picture of the littles!

 

 

I'm a huge fan of the scalloped circle mats, especially for this album. It mimics the shape of the snow globe perfectly. I used 3.5 inch scalloped punch and a 3 inch circle punch. Check out the little squirrel peeking out of the tree. So cute! 

 

This is one of my favorite pages ... so many tiny Santa faces and trees, the holiday colors, and the 2 penguins are all adorable. Perfect for a Christmas morning photo.
