Puppy Love Tags with Bella Blvd

Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team project where we were asked to use hearts in our project. Well ... that sounded fun! And since it's almost Valentine's Day, I decided to make three 3.5"x6.5" puppy love tags that I could use on a 12x12 layout. 💗

 

Tags are a quick, easy and fun project and they're perfect to make with your scraps. But then, what do you do with them? Here's a few ideas ...

Tuck them in the pocket of a scrapbook album, journal on them, mail them in place of a greeting card, use them to decorate a handmade card, or use them as a cute bookmark! (Love this idea!!)

 

 

You could also add one to the top of a wrapped gift, a wine bottle or tuck it in a gift basket. Or use them as labels for binders, storage baskets, bins, buckets or boxes. They'd look cute AND help you stay organized! Or, glue a magnet to the back and use it on your refrigerator. Cute for photos or kids artwork!

 

 

As for the "how to" ... I started with white card stock and cut out three base tags 3.5"x6.5". I layered them with some Bella Besties heart print paper in McIntosh, Ice and Bell Pepper. I adore these papers. The chubby little hearts add a subtle pattern and the colors are great.

 

 

Next, I looked through my super awesome Bella stash and found 3x4 cards from the Cooper Collection. I chose 3 really cute ones and added one of each to the center of my tags, trimming them if necessary. 

 

 

Then it was time to decorate. Yay! My favorite part! I added the cute puppy dog die cuts (Cooper ephemera). I used foam adhesive on a few for dimension. Then, I sprinkled some epoxy hearts (Hearts Dog Mix) on the tags to add a little shine. Love those. Tied some ribbon and twine to the top of each tag and voila! Super easy and I think they turned out precious.
