Hugs and Kisses Jar Album with Bella Blvd

Hey guys! Today I'm excited to share my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project. It's a new mini album that's shaped like a mason jar! It's full of hearts and colorful papers. Perfect for Valentine photos or any pictures of the people you love! 💕

 

This Mason Jar shape is so popular and many people are using it as a theme for parties. So, I thought ... what about a mini album for pictures from those events? Yesss! Mine has a Love/Valentine theme but you could change the materials and use it for:

• a baby shower or a gender reveal party
  
• a bridal shower
  
• a wedding - great mini for parents, grandparents or the bridal party
  
• a birthday party - perfect for kids or a 50th birthday celebration
  
• an anniversary
• a holiday - cute for an Easter brunch, Mother's Day or 4th of July
  
• a Super Bowl or game day get-together

Or ... if you just love the shape of this cute jar mini, add pictures of anyone who's special to you. I'm using it for family photos and sitting it out as Valentine's Day decor!

 

Here's how it's made. I used a Lori Whitlock cutting file called Valentina Jar of Hearts and tons of Bella Blvd products (links below). I started by using the print and cut feature so that I could get the cute, hand drawn lines of the jar. I offset the shape and cut out 5 white card stock pages.

 

 

I kept my design simple. I added some pretty patterned papers for the mats and dug through my stash looking for everything with hearts. For the picture above, I used a floral paper (which I love!) from the Chloe Collection, the Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre in punch and the heart shaped die-cuts from the Squeeze the Day Collection.

 

I found a bunch of great words, titles and stickers from the Home Sweet Home collection. The ephemera worked perfectly and I paired them with a colorful heart paper from the Chloe Collection. I'm loving the way this turned out!

 

 

The Hearts and Ombre paper are great for Valentine's Day but they go with everything so I use them a lot. Love the happy colors! And speaking of happy colors, that adorable little rainbow is from Squeeze the Day and the yellow paper is from Home Sweet Home.

 

Have you ever noticed that you can mix and match Bella Blvd's collections and they always look great together? For example, the stripe in the pic above is from the Fa La La Collection and it's in my Valentine's Day mini! Perfecto 💗

 

I used a bunch of colorful hearts throughout the album. There are trinkets, epoxy hearts, die cuts and some were part of the cutting file.

 

 

For the pages above, I added the acrylic "Love" piece for a bit of dimension, some cute flower stickers from the Chloe collection and paper from Squeeze the Day and Home Sweet Home. See? Mix and match! It's so much fun!

 

Wouldn't this make an cute handmade gift? Perfect for a teacher, babysitter, your teenager, a grandparent or even for your mom for Mother's Day gift. It's great to think ahead and get started early.
