Both pages are all about my amazing family :) and time spent outside on a pretty fall day. The Pumpkin Spice collection was perfect with it's autumn colors and cute embellishments.
I’m loving the circle shapes lately! I used circles in a pumpkin patch layout here, in my Halloween page kit here and this adorable fall card here. The circle pattern is a great way to show off a bunch of fun and different papers and to frame small photos. On this page, I used a 12x12 die cut circle cardstock from Jillibean Soup called White Simple Circles. But ... if you have a cutting machine you could easily cut out something similar to this.
After picking out my favorite Pumpkin Spice patterns, I cut circles out of each using my 1.75" circle punch and glued them to the back of the die cut. Super easy! I backed some of them with white card stock to highlight a few cute embellishments, and also left some open so the background paper could show through. You could also add a few extra pictures!
This page could be used for many different photos ... a day of hiking, the kids playing in the leaves, pumpkin patch photos, a corn maze or Thanksgiving Day dinner with the whole crazy, wonderful family!
Actually, this
would be a great layout to use for any of your photos. Your
simple everyday pictures, other holidays or a fun event. Christmas is
coming and by simply changing out the paper collection you could have a
pretty sweet Christmas layout!
Here's a photo of the entire two page layout, side-by-side. Cute, right?! Again, to see more pictures of page #1 click here to go to that post or you can see it on Doodlebug's blog.
Hope this gives you a little inspiration for your next 12x12 double page layout! Happy crafting!
Beautiful fall layout!
